Composite insulating film
Provided is a flexible and self-supporting insulating film including a base polymer layer and a partially cured poly(amide)imide layer applied to the base polymer layer. The composite insulating film may be used as slot liner to provide insulation to the components of the electric motor. The partially cured poly(amide)imide layer of the composite insulation film maybe further cured by the heat generated by the operation of the electric motor.

Disclosed is a layered barrier film having a first product component and a second detachable carrier component. The first product component includes a layer of material selected from a group including polyethylenes, polyethylene copolymers, polypropylene copolymers, thermoplastic polyurethanes, thermoplastic polyester elastomers, thermoplastic polyamide elastomers, thermoplastic elastomer compounds, and/or blends thereof, and a second layer made from at least partially inorganic material. The first product component has high barrier properties and is very soft. The second detachable carrier component is a layer of material selected from a group including polyethylenes, polypropylenes, polyesters, polyamides, and/or blends thereof.
TREATMENT OF RELEASE LAYER AND INKJET INK FORMULATIONS
Aqueous inkjet ink formulations comprising a solvent including water and a co-solvent, a water soluble or water dispersible polymeric resin and a colorant, and a method for facilitating the use of such an aqueous inkjet ink in an indirect printing system in which the ink is jetted onto a hydrophobic release layer of an intermediate transfer member before having the solvent removed therefrom and being transferred to a substrate, wherein prior to the jetting of the ink the release layer is brought into contact with an aqueous solution of a positively charged polymeric chemical agent. Other aspects are also described.
Multilayer film with polyamide and polyester layers for the production of photovoltaic modules
A multilayer film containing layers of polyamide and polyester, suitable as a back cover for a photovoltaic module is provided. The film comprises, in the order listed: a) a layer which comprises at least 35% by weight of polyamide; c) a layer which comprises at least 35% by weight, of a thermoplastic polyester; and e) a layer which comprises at least 35% by weight of polyamide; wherein the layers a) and e) further comprise 0.1 to 60% by weight, of a polyamine-polyamide graft copolymer, or the layer c) further comprises 0.1 to 30% by weight of polyamine-polyamide graft copolymer. The polyamine-polyamide graft copolymer comprises as copolymerized monomers: a polyamine having at least 4 nitrogen atoms and at least one polyamide-forming unit selected from the group consisting of a lactam, an -aminocarboxylic acid and an equimolar combinations of a diamine and a dicarboxylic acid. In another embodiment, adhesion promoting layers are placed between the layers.
