Nanosystems for controlled transport of active molecules for diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic purposes
Disclosed is a nanoparticle system consisting of a polymer support or substrate in the form of nanoparticles to which a hydrolase enzyme able to degrade hyaluronic acid and one or more biologically and/or pharmacologically active molecules are covalently bonded, its preparation process and its uses in the diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic fields.
Antimicrobial preparation from fermentation yeast precipitate
Provided are methods of making and using an antimicrobial composition, optionally including adding one or more enzymes to a suspension of lees, wherein the lees was formed by fermenting fruit with yeast and the one or more optional enzymes comprise a protease, a carbohydrase, or a combination of a protease and a carbohydrase; and forming a dried lees by drying the lees. In some examples the fruit includes chardonnay grapes, pinot noir grapes, cabernet franc grapes, or a combination of any two or more of chardonnay grapes, pinot noir grapes, and cabernet franc grapes; the yeast includes one or more Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains of yeast; and drying the lees by heating it. In some examples, trub made from fermenting a grain such as barley is used instead of lees. An antimicrobial composition made as provided may be administered to an animal to inhibit bacterial growth.

SELECTIVE CELL DEATH-INDUCING ENZYME SYSTEM
The invention relates to a fusion protein containing a selective cell death-inducing enzyme system for use in the therapy and/or treatment of cancer and tumors in humans and animals, a process, and its use.
BOTULINUM NEUROTOXINS FOR TREATING HYPERHIDROSIS
Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for use in treating hyperhidrosis.
APPLICATION OF ANTI-PLATELET THROMBOLYSIN IN PREPARING DRUG FOR TREATING ANEMIA
A method of preparing a medicament for a treatment of anemia includes the step of using an antiplatelet thrombolysin in preparing the medicament, and the antiplatelet thrombolysin has an activity of improving the anemia. The antiplatelet thrombolysin consists of two peptide chains of α chain and β chain, in which the α chain amino acid sequence is shown in SEQ ID NO: 1, the β chain amino acid sequence is shown in SEQ ID NO: 2; or the antiplatelet thrombolysin is derived from the α chain amino acid sequence by substitution, deletion, or addition of one or more amino acids and has at least 95% identity with SEQ ID NO: 1; or the antiplatelet thrombolysin is derived from the β chain amino acid sequence by substitution, deletion, or addition of one or more amino acids and has at least 95% identity with SEQ ID NO: 2.
Long lasting effect of new botulinum toxin formulations
The invention relates to the use of an animal-protein-free botulinum toxin composition to treat a disease, disorder or condition in a patient in need thereof whereby the animal-protein-free botulinum toxin composition exhibits a longer lasting effect in the patient compared to an animal-protein-containing botulinum toxin composition.
