The first tool magazine support mechanism includes a first shaft to support at least one of the first tool magazines to be rotatable about a first rotation axis. The additional first tool magazine support mechanism includes an additional first shaft to support at least one of the first tool magazines to be rotatable about an additional first rotation axis. The tool carrier includes a first guide extending along the first and additional first rotation axes, a second guide extending along a line connecting the first and additional first rotation axes, and a lift configured to move along the first guide. The first guide is movable along the second guide.
Control method for machine tool, and machine tool
This method, for controlling a machine tool using a tool holder to which a coolant pipe is attached, includes: a step of detecting, in response to a signal indicating that a tool is prepared on a tool loading station of the machine tool, whether or not an abnormality has occurred in attaching the coolant pipe to the tool holder of the tool while the tool holder is at the tool loading station; and a step of issuing an alarm when the abnormality is detected in the step of detecting the occurrence of the abnormality.
CONVEYANCE DEVICE
A tool magazine as a conveyance device includes a first conveyance unit that conveys a plurality of tools along a first route, a second conveyance unit that conveys a plurality of tools along a second route, and a cover body. A first opening used to attach and detach the tool in a first section of first route and a second opening used to attach and detach the tool a third section of second route are provided in cover body. A second section of first route is located between first section of first route and second conveyance unit in a direction in which first conveyance unit and second conveyance unit are arranged. A fourth section of second route is located between third section of second route and first conveyance unit in the direction in which first conveyance unit and second conveyance unit are arranged.
Tool changer, machine tool, and method for changing tool
A tool changer includes at least one tool changer unit, wherein the at least one tool changer unit includes: a tool holder that receives and holds a tool; a base member that supports the tool holder so that the tool holder can be slid along a longitudinal direction of the tool; and a moving mechanism that slides the tool holder relative to the base member.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool equipped with a robot includes a stocker which has one or more effector holder units for holding an end effector to be mounted on the robot, in which the stocker can be stored within a casing of the machine tool. At least a part of the stocker is configured to be bilaterally advanceable into a machining chamber of the machine tool and an external region located outside the machine tool.
Tool exchange method and tool exchange device
This tool exchange device for a machine tool uses an exchange arm to exchange tools between a processing area and a tool accommodation area. In the tool exchange device, an imaging device is used to capture an image of a tool in the tool accommodation area, operation parameters for the exchange arm when the exchange arm is used to exchange the tools are determined from the captured image of the tool, and the exchange arm is operated on the basis of the operation parameters to exchange the tool.
MACHINE TOOL HAVING TWO TOOL SPINDLES
A machine tool is provided with two vertically oriented tool spindles that are arranged to hold tools and that are movable vertically in a first direction and horizontally in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. Furthermore, the machine tool is provided with two workpiece support devices for clamping workpieces in place. At least one of the two workpiece support devices is movable horizontally in a third direction orthogonal to the first and the second direction. The two tool spindles and the two workpiece support devices are mounted on a common machine frame with a common working space, wherein the two tool spindles are movable parallel to one another in the second direction. The two tool spindles are facing one another.
CUTTING APPARATUS
To provide a cutting apparatus capable of effectively removing swarf that scatters in a machining space, while reducing cost. A cutting apparatus includes: a machining mechanism on which a tool for machining a workpiece is mounted; a placement base that is disposed to face the machining mechanism in a machining space and that is movable in a first direction with the workpiece placed thereon; an open/close covering member that extends in the first direction thereby to contain therein the placement base and to form at least part of the machining space; and a drive mechanism that is isolated from the machining space and that moves the placement base in the first direction.
Tool storage, machine tool, hybrid working machine
A tool storage includes a tool magazine, a magazine mover, and a storage device cover. The tool magazine includes a plurality of tool holding members which are provided in the tool magazine and which are configured to hold a tool. The magazine mover is provided outside the tool magazine and is configured to move the tool magazine in a moving direction between an exchange position at which the tool is exchanged and a storage position at which the tool is stored. The storage device cover is provided to arrange the tool magazine and the magazine mover in the tool storage. The plurality of tool holding members are arranged in the moving direction.
