Systems and methods dynamically assess energy efficiency by obtaining a minimum energy consumption of a system, receiving in a substantially continuous way a measurement of actual energy consumption of the system, and comparing the minimum energy consumption to the measurement of actual energy consumption to calculate a substantially continuous energy performance assessment. The system further provides at least one of a theoretical minimum energy consumption based at least in part on theoretical performance limits of system components, an achievable minimum energy consumption based at least in part on specifications for high energy efficient equivalents of the system components, and the designed minimum energy consumption based at least in part on specifications for the system components.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPLY CHAIN COMPLIANCE

Disclosed is a compliance database and management system for auditing, assessing, and tracking the compliance of companies and their suppliers and method for performing the same. A method for performing supply chain compliance includes collecting supply chain data, such as information about one or more suppliers, compiling (e.g., building) the supply chain data (e.g., into a database) and providing the compiled supply chain data so that the data is accessible to a user. The compiled supply chain data can be analyzed, filtered by one or more parameters, organized by one or more parameters, or a combination thereof by a user.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMATING CARBON FOOTPRINTING

Methods and systems for automating carbon footprinting are disclosed. In some embodiments, the methods include a plurality of steps. In some embodiments, related to predetermined resources associated with an item from predetermined data sources is obtained. Then, estimated emission factors are calculated for each of the resources. Next, a contributory uncertainty of the data and of the emission factors is determined. Then, a user is guided based on a comparison of the respective contributory uncertainty of data related to the resources or emission factors. Next, both data related to the resources and the estimated emission factors of the resources are utilized to determine a carbon footprint of the item.

REAL-TIME ENTERPRISE CARBON FOOTPRINT AGGREGATE OFFSET DETERMINATION

An accountability management system for determining an aggregate offset for each layer of a hierarchical network of an enterprise. The accountability management system includes an input processor and a processing engine. The hierarchical network with a plurality of nodes defining the enterprise is retrieved at the input processor. The plurality of nodes include sub-entities and locations, the plurality of nodes are interconnected in an order according to the enterprise, and each layer of the hierarchical network is allocated footprint from a next lower layer. Data sources are linked for the aggregate offset at bottom-most nodes in the hierarchical network. The footprint for the bottom most layer and each layer above the bottom most layer is determined. The aggregate offset for each layer of the hierarchical network for the enterprise. The aggregate offset is recalculated when any of the data sources change or the interrelationship between the nodes is changed.
