Quick Disconnect Apparatus for Modular Tooling
A modular tooling receiver includes a housing having a wall and a port, and an engaging member movably disposed in the port. A lock actuator is moveable between a first position and a second position. The release lever is connected to the housing and is engageable with the lock actuator for causing movement of the lock actuator from the first position toward the second position. An anti-release mechanism is connected to the release lever and is movable between an engaged position, in which the anti-release mechanism engages the housing to restrain movement of the release lever to prevent movement of the lock actuator from the first position to the second position, and a disengaged position, in which the anti-release mechanism disengages the housing to allow movement of the release lever.
ARTICULATED DEVICE FOR ROBOTIC SYSTEMS
An articulated device for robotic systems includes three rigid bodies. The first rigid body is configured to rotate about a first rotation axis with respect to a rigid base body. The second rigid body is configured to rotate about a second rotation axis with respect to the first rigid body. The third rigid body is configured to rotate about a third rotation axis with respect to the second rigid body. The first, second, and third rotation axes coincide in at least one point, which defines the center of rotation of the articulated device.
ROBOT ASSEMBLY AND CORRESPONDING ASSEMBLY METHOD
A robot assembly having an exchangeable application device is provided. The application device is connected and exchangeable via an intermediate flange, with the respective construction lengths of the application device and the intermediate flange being matched to each other as a pair such that an exchange of the application device together with the associated and individually matched intermediate flange maintains the tool center point.
ROBOT AND ROBOT HAND HAVING SURFACE MATCHING FUNCTION
A robot hand and a robot having the robot hand, the robot hand having a mechanism configured to appropriately carry out surface matching between an electrical magnet and an adsorbed surface of a workpiece, corresponding to the posture of the adsorbed surface. The robot hand has: a hand base; a holder attached to the hand base; a spherical bearing arranged in the holder so that a rotational center of the spherical bearing is positioned on a hand center axis; a connecting member attached to the holder via the spherical bearing, the connecting member having a protruding portion which protrudes from the holder in a direction opposed to the hand base; a holder base fixed to an attachment surface opposed to an adsorbing surface of the electrical magnet; and a posture restoring member for restoring the posture of the holder base so that the holder base represents a neutral posture.
Flexible wrist-type element
A flexible wrist-type element, comprising: a base housing extending along a first longitudinal axis towards a base end; an operational housing extending along a second longitudinal axis towards an operational end; an operational element moveably connected to the operational housing; a joint assembly movably connecting the base housing and the operational housing; wherein the joint assembly allows relative movement of the operational housing and the base housing between a first position and a second position, wherein a point of intersection between the second longitudinal axis and the first longitudinal axis moves during movement between the first position and the second position; a driver assembly moveably supported by the base housing and the operational housing; and wherein the driver assembly is configured to actuate the operational element relative to the operational housing.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EFFICIENTLY MOVING A VARIETY OF OBJECTS
A programmable motion system is disclosed that includes a dynamic end effector system. The dynamic end effector system includes an end effector that is coupled via a dynamic coupling to the programmable motion system, wherein the dynamic coupling provides that at least a portion of the end effector may spin with respect to an other portion of the end effector.
Double universal joint
Surgical tools having a two degree-of-freedom wrist, wrist articulation by linked tension members, mechanisms for transmitting torque through an angle, and minimally invasive surgical tools incorporating these features are disclosed. An elongate intermediate wrist member is pivotally coupled with a distal end of an instrument shaft so as to rotate about a first axis transverse to the shaft, and an end effector body is pivotally coupled with the intermediate member so as to rotate about a second axis that is transverse to the first axis. Linked tension members interact with attachment features to articulate the wrist. A torque-transmitting mechanism includes a coupling member, coupling pins, a drive shaft, and a driven shaft. The drive shaft is coupled with the driven shaft so as to control the relative orientations of the drive shaft, the coupling member, and the driven shaft.
User-assisted robotic control systems
Exemplary embodiments relate to user-assisted robotic control systems, user interfaces for remote control of robotic systems, vision systems in robotic control systems, and modular grippers for use by robotic systems. Systems, methods, apparatuses and computer-readable media instructions are disclosed for interactions with and control of robotic systems, in particular, pick and place systems using soft robotic actuators to grasp, move and release target objects.
Surgical Tool With a Two Degree of Freedom Wrist
Surgical tools that include a mechanisms for transmitting torque through an angle are disclosed. A surgical tool includes an instrument shaft, a drive shaft, an end effector, a driven shaft, and a coupling member. The instrument shaft is elongated along an instrument shaft axis. The drive shaft is mounted to the instrument shaft for rotation about a drive shaft axis. The end effector is coupled with the instrument shaft so that an orientation of the end effector can be varied relative to the instrument shaft. The driven shaft is coupled with the end effector to articulate a feature of the end effector via rotation of the driven shaft relative to the end effector. The coupling member couples the drive shaft with the driven shaft so that a rate of rotation of the drive shaft and a rate of rotation of the driven shaft about a driven shaft axis are equal.
