Work vehicle
A work vehicle includes a propelling device, which consists of a pair of right and left front wheels and a pair of right and left rear wheels, an engine configured to drive one of the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear wheels, an electric motor configured to drive the other of the pair of front wheels and the pair of rear wheels, a battery configured to supply electric power to the electric motor, and a controller configured to control the electric motor. The controller performs regeneration control at constant current value to charge the battery with regenerative power of the electric motor at a constant current value regardless of rotation speed of the electric motor.
VEHICLE WHEEL TORQUE CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A vehicle includes a pair of electric machines each coupled to a laterally-opposing wheel to output a wheel torque. The vehicle also includes a controller programmed to command a combined regenerative braking torque output of the electric machines based on a lesser of a braking torque limit of each individual electric machine. The controller is also programmed to command a regenerative braking torque from each electric machine to be within a predetermined torque threshold of each other in response to a yaw rate exceeding a yaw threshold.
Methods and system for regenerative hybrid vehicle braking
Methods and systems are provided for operating a hybrid vehicle during operating conditions where vehicle braking is requested. In one example, regenerative braking is permitted during conditions of wheel slip so that a greater portion of a vehicle's kinetic energy may be recovered and stored as electrical energy. Additionally, in some examples, the amount of regenerative braking is adjusted responsive to a torque of a differential clutch during wheel slip conditions.
Vehicle systems and methods for reducing electrified vehicle noise, vibration, and harshness
A method includes controlling an electrified vehicle by automatically engaging a braking device if the electrified vehicle is in park and an engine start or stop request has been received. Controlling the electrified vehicle includes preventing a brake lamp from illuminating during engagement of the braking device.
Apparatus and method for controlling vehicle having motor
An apparatus for controlling a vehicle having a motor is provided and includes a driving information sensor that senses driving information of the vehicle including an open value of an APS, an open value of a BPS, a driving wheel speed, a non-driving wheel speed, external temperature, battery temperature, a vehicle speed, and a shift stage. A driving motor generates a driving force and is operated as a power generator when the vehicle coasts to generate electric energy. An ABS that adjusts a braking force applied to a driving wheel. A controller changes a coast regeneration torque subject to regenerative braking by the driving motor when the vehicle is coasting, based on a difference between a driving wheel speed and a non-driving wheel speed, correction temperature determined based on the external temperature and the battery temperature, a friction coefficient of a road, and an operation condition of the ABS.
Electrified vehicle energy dissipation
An exemplary electrified vehicle assembly includes a coolant circuit and a controller configured to selectively direct energy into at least one component of the coolant circuit to provide a negative wheel torque.
OPERATING METHODS AND SYSTEM FOR A DRIVELINE DISCONNECT CLUTCH
Systems and methods for operating a driveline of a hybrid vehicle are presented. In one example, the systems and methods determine a driveline disconnect boost time during vehicle operating conditions when it may be less noticeable. The driveline disconnect boost time may then be used to close a driveline disconnect clutch in a way that may reduce torque disturbances through the driveline.
Control system for regenerative braking in a hybrid vehicle
A vehicle includes a powertrain, an electric machine, a battery, and a controller. The powertrain is configured to transfer motive power to the electric machine to charge the battery during regenerative braking. The controller programmed to, in response to a decreasing demanded powertrain output torque, adjust a regenerative braking torque limit based on an anti-jerk torque schedule, generate an actual regenerative braking torque based on system constraints, and limit the actual regenerative braking torque to the regenerative braking torque limit.
Method for creep cancellation in hybrid drivelines
According to one embodiment of this disclosure, a vehicle having an electric machine and at least one controller is described. The electric machine may be configured to generate creep torque to move the vehicle. The controller may be programmed to decrease a target speed of a torque converter impeller to create a desired brake torque and partially cancel the creep torque without application of friction brakes in response to a brake pedal being pressed while an accelerator pedal is not being pressed.
REGENERATIVE VEHICLE BRAKING WITH WHEEL SLIP CONTROL AND YAW STABILITY CONTROL
Methods and systems are provided for operating a hybrid vehicle during operating conditions where vehicle braking is requested. In one example, regenerative braking is allocated to vehicle wheels responsive to actual and estimated vehicle yaw. Additionally, friction braking torque is allocated to vehicle wheels responsive to requested braking torque and regenerative braking torques.
