Atropine pharmaceutical compositions
The inventive subject matter is directed to compositions and methods for sterile and storage stable low-dose atropine formulations with improved stability. Most preferably, the compositions presented herein are substantially preservative free and exhibit less than 0.35% tropic acid from degradation of atropine. Advantageously, contemplated formulations are also substantially free of preservatives.
BUFFER-FREE OPHTHALMOLOGICAL COMPOSITIONS OF KETOROLAC AND PHENYLEPHRINE AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
This invention provides novel compositions comprising an anti-inflammatory agent and a mydriatic agent suitable for intraocular use, particularly ketorolac or pharmaceutically salts thereof and phenylephrine or pharmaceutically salts thereof, which are free of any buffering agent and yet, surprisingly, maintain stability for significant periods of time (e.g., at least about 3 months). The present invention also relates to a process of preparing such compositions and use thereof, e.g., in combination with intraocular ophthalmologic irrigation solutions.
LOW-VISCOSITY, HIGH CONCENTRATION EVOLOCUMAB FORMULATIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Provided herein are formulations of PCSK9-binding polypeptides, such as those comprising evolocumab, that comprise N-acetyl arginine and have reduced viscosities when compared to formulations lacking N-acetyl arginine. Provided herein are also methods of formulating such compositions that are advantageous in that they conserve certain components. Such formulations comprising PCSK9-binding polypeptides can be administered to patients to treat and/or prevent PCSK9-related diseases, conditions, and disorders.
EXCIPIENT COMPOUNDS FOR BIOPOLYMER FORMULATIONS
Disclosed herein are reduced viscosity liquid formulations comprising a protein and an excipient compounds. Further disclosed are methods of reducing the viscosity of a liquid formulation comprising a protein, methods of treatment, and methods of improving protein processing.
Formulation for anti-α4β7 antibody
Antibody formulations are described comprising a mixture of an anti-α4β7 antibody, an antioxidant or chelator, and at least one free amino acid. The disclosed formulations may have improved stability, reduced aggregate formation, or both. The present invention further provides a safe dosing regimen of these antibody formulations that is easy to follow, and which results in a therapeutically effective amount of the anti-α4β7 antibody in vivo.
Nano-Emulsion Based Compositions, Methods for Their Preparation and Their Use in Delivery of Active Ingredients
The present disclosure relates to compositions comprising an oil-in-water nano-emulsion dispersed in an external oil phase, methods for the preparation of such compositions as well as uses of such compositions, for example, for delivery of active ingredients to a subject. The methods comprise combining a first mixture comprising a liquid oil and a charged lipid with a second mixture that is an aqueous mixture comprising a film-forming thermoreversible emulsifier to prepare an oil-in-water nano-emulsion; and combining the oil-in-water nano-emulsion with a third mixture comprising a combination of solid lipids to prepare the composition.
TRABECTEDIN COMPOSITION
The present disclosure provides a stable, ready-to-dilute injectable pharmaceutical composition comprising trabectedin and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein the composition is free of ethanol.
HIGHLY CONCENTRATED LOW VISCOSITY MASP-2 INHIBITORY ANTIBODY FORMULATIONS, KITS, AND METHODS
The present invention relates to stable, high-concentration low-viscosity formulations of MASP-2 inhibitory antibodies, kits comprising the formulations and therapeutic methods using the formulations and kits for inhibiting the adverse effects of MASP-2 dependent complement activation.
Composition comprising highly-concentrated α1 proteinase inhibitor and method for obtaining thereof
Compositions include highly-concentrated Alpha-1 Proteinase Inhibitor (A1PI) in a concentration greater than or equal to 100 mg/ml. Pharmaceutical compositions can be prepared from these compositions. The pharmaceutical compositions can be suitable for subcutaneous administration. The highly-concentrated A1PI solutions can be obtained by single-pass tangential flow filtration (SPTFF).
INFECTIOUS DISEASE VACCINES
Aspects of the disclosure relate to nucleic acid vaccines. The vaccines include one or more RNA polynucleotides having an open reading frame encoding one or more Chikungunya antigen(s), one or more Zika virus antigens, and one or more Dengue antigens. Methods for preparing and using such vaccines are also described.
