A carrier apparatus for supporting a garment includes a hanger having first and second arm elements that project radially outwardly from a central hanging axis and which are connected by a hinged coupling which allows the first and second arm elements to be folded around said central axis or axes parallel to said central hanging axis to thereby substantially overlie one another.

A suitcase system including a duffel bag and removably attachable garment bag. The duffel bag comprises a flexible yet robust basket comprising panels having at least one basket fastener disposed within a thickness of at least one of the panels. The garment bag is flexible yet robust and comprises panels having at least one garment fastener disposed with a thickness of at least one of the panels. The duffel bag and the garment bag are removably attached by virtue of automatic engagement among the basket fastener and the garment fastener, the bottom of the duffel bag being free from obstruction by the garment bag. In some preferred embodiments of the present invention the aforementioned fasteners are complementarily aligned magnets. The duffel bag and the garment bag are optionally engaged to provide a creaseless and seamless unified luggage article suitable for carrying clothing and personal effects. Moreover, wherein the basket and garment bag are optionally disengaged, a duffel bag and a garment bag are provided herein that are separate from one another and configured for comprehensive use as independent luggage articles.

Retractable hanger used in compartments for carrying personal effects consists essentially of a hanger represented by a hook (1) that can be retracted related to a compartment/bag (B), optionally enclosed by an elastic mesh (2), which is positioned and fixed (3) vertically in the inner surface of the front wall (4) of travel bags (B) and the like, in which the upper fold (5) of said hook (1) enables same to be hung on doors (6) and similar structures, in addition to supports, partitions, bars, rings, clothes hangers and other hooks, whilst the bottom portion (7) thereof has at least one projection (8) for hanging clothing, towels and bags and the like, or a holder (9) for receiving bottles and toiletries and other objects for personal use.

A garment bag may comprise: a top; a bottom opposite the top; a first opening configured to receive into the garment bag a garment hanging on a hanger, the hanger having a hanger feature for holding the hanger; a second opening adjacent the top of the garment bag and configured to receive the hanger feature therethrough; a left attachment handle positioned adjacent the bottom of the garment bag and positioned to cooperate with a left hook on a left sidewall of a garment receptacle; and a right attachment handle positioned adjacent the bottom of the garment bag and positioned to cooperate with a right hook on a right sidewall of the garment receptacle.

Embodiments of the invention comprise a travel accessory, a travel system, and a method for implementing the travel accessory. The embodiments can include a travel accessory having a base layer having a first side and a second side, and one or more adjustable straps arranged on the first side of the base layer, wherein the one or more adjustable straps includes a fastener for securing the one or more adjustable straps. A folding garment bag including an internal hanging system for securing clothes, a padded lining for maintaining the position of the clothes, a smooth, integrated separating layer for separating garments within the bag, and a three-sided zipper that allows the bag to open flat for loading. The zipper includes a zipper shield to protect garments. The internal hanging system includes offset hanger loops and securable straps for hanging garments. The padded lining is made from a compressible material to minimize movement of the clothes. The smooth, integrated separating layer is stretchable across the bag to create a barrier between layers of clothes. The folding garment bag includes an hourglass shape to reduce excess material and weight, and a handle and clasp for ergonomic carrying and hanging.
