RECLOSABLE POUCH HAVING A CLICKING CLOSURE DEVICE
A reclosable pouch includes a first bag wall. A second bag wall opposing the first bag wall is joined to the first bag wall to form an interior of the pouch with an opening to the interior. A male closure element coupled to one of the bag walls defines a plurality of deformed segments and a plurality of normal segments along a length thereof. The plurality of deformed segments alternate with the plurality of normal segments, with (i) first transitions on one side of the male closure element and (ii) second transitions on another side of the male closure element. A female closure element coupled to the other bag wall engages with the male closure element to seal the opening of the pouch, with the deformed segments of the male closure element generating a sound when the female closure element engages with the male closure element.
Closure mechanism with multiple frequency feedback
A closure mechanism includes a first elongate closure member having a series of regularly spaced features disposed along an entire length of the first elongate closure member. The series of regularly spaced features includes a plurality of vertically extending elongate features on an outer surface of the first closure member. The vertically extending elongate features are spaced apart along the entire length of the first closure member in alternating and repeating distances. A second elongate closure member includes a series of regularly spaced features disposed along an entire length of the second closure member and sealingly engages the first closure member. A slider interacts with (i) the series of regularly spaced features on the first elongate closure member to produce a first feedback at a first frequency, and (ii) the series of regularly spaced features on the second elongate closure member to produce a second feedback at a second frequency.
AIR POCKET FLANGE CLOSURE FOR PUSH-TO-OPEN RECLOSABLE PACKAGES
The present disclosure relates to a closure for a reclosable package wherein the product side flanges include opposing air pockets thereby allowing a user to more easily grab the product side flanges or the package walls. In a second embodiment of the disclosure, the opposing air pockets are adjacent to the interlocking elements of the closure. In a further aspect of the disclosure, a closure includes a small sack or air or other fluid adjacent to the closure profiles. When closed, the closure creates a leak resistant configuration. By pressing the air sack, the user separates the closure profiles.
Reclosable pouch having a clicking closure device
A reclosable pouch includes a first bag wall. A second bag wall opposing the first bag wall is joined to the first bag wall to form an interior of the pouch with an opening to the interior. A first male closure element coupled to the first bag wall defines a plurality of deformed segments and a plurality of normal segments alternating along a length thereof. A first female closure element coupled to the second bag wall engages with the first male closure element to seal the opening of the pouch and to generate a first sound. A second female closure element coupled to the second bag wall engages with the second male closure element to seal the opening of the pouch and to generate a second sound differing from the first sound.
Reclosable bag having a loud sound during closing
A closure mechanism for a reclosable bag including an elongated groove profile having two arms which define an opening to a channel, and an elongated rib profile opposing the groove profile, wherein a plurality of first segments of the rib profile alternate with a plurality of second segments of the rib profile to create a structural discontinuity along a length thereof. The groove profile and the rib profile form a first zipper, the second segments have a smaller cross-section when viewed perpendicular to the length of the rib profile than the first segments, and the second segments are longer than the first segments.
A PROTECTIVE SLIDER ZIPPER
A protective slider zipper, comprising a zipper and a slider for opening and closing the zipper, wherein an upper part of the slider is in a protection structure; the root part of the protection structure is in a bending structure capable of being repeatedly bent; a first work support surface at one side of the protection structure is fixedly connected with a first slider hand; the zipper comprises a female strip and a male strip; and the female strip is connected with and separated from the male strip through the slider.
RECLOSABLE CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A reclosable bag has first and second walls and an open top defined by first and second elongate flexible fastener strips adjacent the top of the walls. One fastener strip has a profile portion forming a groove and a portion forming a rib. A portion of the rib is received and retained in the groove when the bag top is closed. Each fastener strip has a base connected to the respective wall. A slider is mounted on the strips and movable in one direction to open the bag, and in the opposite direction to close the bag. A separator, located in the slider, extends downwardly into the space between the top of the slider and the upper edges of the fastener strips. A pair of flanges extend outwardly from the bag walls, one on each wall. The flanges are disposed parallel to the top of the walls, and substantially below the fastener strips, the flanges being sized, constructed and arranged for retention within the slider.
A zipper for a reclosable bag includes an elongated groove profile having two arms which form a general U-shape to define an opening to a channel, and an elongated rib profile opposing the groove profile. A plurality of first segments of the rib profile alternate with a plurality of second segments of the rib profile to create a structural discontinuity along a length thereof. During interlocking of the groove and rib profiles, an audible clicking sound of at least 50 dB on average is created during opening and closing.
