An athletic bag comprising a body having antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties on one or both sides of the body and a detachable dual-purpose carrying strap that may also serve as fitness equipment is provided. The bag may be reversible. The body may further comprise a fabric having a silver-treated coating. The body may also further comprise a fabric having an embedded silver component. The bag may also include at least one insert to store various items. The bag may also include a thermal pouch, a compartment to visually and audibly display electronic devices, and an antibacterial monitor that measures the growth of bacteria in the bag. The bag may also include an attachment for an exercise mat.

A protection and storage bag includes a main opening configured to be closed by rolling up, the opening defining an opening perimeter. The bag further includes a flexible or hinged anti-theft member having a first free end, a central part linked to a portion of the opening perimeter and a second free end, the two free ends of the anti-theft member being configured to cooperate with a locking system in order to lock the anti-theft member in a closed position; an anti-rotation system configured to prevent any relative rotation between the anti-theft member and the portion of the opening perimeter; and an anti-turn system for preventing the anti-theft member from being turned by twisting when the bag is closed by rolling up and locked by the locking system.

Technologies are generally provided for textile items with breathable heat transfer labels. In some examples, a reversed design of a label may be printed onto a surface of a carrier using a water-based or solvent-based ink. A layer of a thermoplastic adhesive may be applied onto the surface of the carrier with the reversed design and a predefined pattern of holes may be laser-drilled into the carrier through the thermoplastic adhesive to avoid appearance of burn marks on an external surface of the label in the completed product. The carrier may then be removed revealing the design of the label with laser-drilled holes on the garment or textile item.
