METHOD FOR LIFTING SUBMUCOSAL OR MUCOSAL TISSUES
The present disclosure provides a method for lifting submucosal or mucosal tissues in a patient, comprising administrating to the tissues an effective amount of a thermosensitive gel composition comprising Poloxamer-407. A method for performing an endoscopic procedure, a method for submucosal or mucosal resectioning, a method for performing an endoscopic ultrasound procedure, and a method for performing a polyp removal are also provided.
NEAR INFRARED FLUORESCENT DYES, FORMULATIONS AND RELATED METHODS
Provided herein is a pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of cypate-Cyclo (Cys-Gly-Arg-Asp-Ser-Pro-Cys)-Lys-OH (LS301), cypate-Cyclo(Cys-Gly-Arg-Asp-Ser-Pro-Cys)-Tyr-OH (LS838) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein each amino acid residue is independently in a D or L configuration; a divalent metal ion; and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Further provided are lyophilized products comprising a dye-conjugate and m methods for identifying compromised and for binding phosphorylated annexin A2 (pANXA2) protein in a biological sample using a composition described herein.
LESION DETECTION METHOD
Provided is a method for detecting a lesion characterized by administering to an organ a cell staining agent that enables observation of biological tissue by laser irradiation, and then irradiating the organ with multiphoton laser or confocal laser to image the inside of lesion in the organ, and determining the interface between normal site and lesion site.
BIOORTHOGONAL COMPOSITIONS
The present disclosure provides bioorthogonal compositions for delivering agents in a subject. The disclosure also provides methods of producing the compositions, as well as methods of using the same.
MODIFIED WOUND DRESSINGS
Embodiments described herein relate to compounds for the detection of wounds, e.g., chronic wounds or infected wounds, including compositions, substrates, kits, dressing materials, and articles, and systems containing such compounds. Further embodiments relate to methods of using these compositions, kits and systems in diagnostic assays, and in the diagnosis and/or detection of chronic or infected wounds based on enzymatic conversion of specific substrates which are contained in the compositions. Additional embodiments relate to methods of characterizing wounds based on expression of a plurality of markers and using such information to treat, manage, and follow-up patients suffering from chronic or infected wounds.
SOLUTION COMPRISING FLUORESCENT DYE AS FIDUCIAL MARKER
The present disclosure relates to a solution comprising a water insoluble carbohydrate and a fluorescent dye, such as a near infrared (NIR) contrast agent, wherein the solution sets under aqueous conditions, such as in vivo, to form e.g. a gel, a glass, a semi-solid, a solid, a crystal or any mixtures thereof. The disclosure further relates to preparation of such solution and use of such solution for in vivo imaging and/or guidance of surgery or interventional therapeutic procedures.
Methods and compositions for drug delivery
Compositions comprising a red blood cell (RBC) having non-toxically coupled thereto a nanoparticle having a low shear modulus or low Young's modulus of less than 10 MPa and containing a drug are provided. In one embodiment, the nanoparticles are optionally coated with protein. In another embodiment, the nanoparticle has no cell-specific targeting moiety or tissue-specific targeting moiety or organ-specific targeting moiety associated therewith. Methods of delivering selected drugs to target organs use these compositions both in vivo and ex vivo treatment of disease and for imaging.
FLUORESCENCE COLORING FOR EYE SURGERY
Disclosed herein is a method of use of colored dye in ophthalmic surgery. In one embodiment the colored dye is fluorescent. In another embodiment the fluorescent dye is combined with viscoelastic gel for anterior segment eye surgery.
Methods of making gels and films using curli nanofibers
Provided are compositions and methods of making hydrogels, aerogels, films and composites directly from a microbial culture or complex mixture using curli nanofibers.
NERVE-SPECIFIC FLUOROPHORE FORMULATIONS FOR DIRECT AND SYSTEMIC ADMINISTRATION
Nerve-specific fluorophore formulations for direct or systemic administration are described. The formulations can be used in fluorescence-guided surgery (FGS) to aid in nerve preservation during surgical interventions.
