COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS RELATING TO CELLS WITH ADHERED PARTICLES

Provided herein are polymeric particles and compositions (i.e., backpacks) that can adhere to cells and provide delivery of payload agents to those cells, and/or direct therapeutic activity of those cells.

Therapeutic Use of Mitochondria and Combined Mitochondrial Agent

The disclosure relates to compositions comprising isolated mitochondria or combined mitochondrial agents, and methods of treating disorders using such compositions.

Therapeutic use of mitochondria and combined mitochondrial agents

The disclosure relates to compositions comprising isolated mitochondria or combined mitochondrial agents, and methods of treating disorders using such compositions.

Therapeutic nanoconjugates and uses thereof

The present invention relates to nanostructured conjugates, more specifically to nanostructured fusion proteins suitable for the selective delivery of their conjugated therapeutic agents to specific cell and tissue types. It also relates to nanoparticles comprising such nanostructured proteins and the therapeutic uses thereof.

NANOSTARS AND NANOCONSTRUCTS FOR DETECTION, IMAGING, AND THERAPY

A polymer-free synthesis method is provided for preparation of monodisperse nanostars. The nanostars can be used for treating and imaging cells in in vivo or ex vivo. The modes of treatment include use of a nanostar modified with a photo-activatable drug, which drug is activated by the photo-response of the nanostar to electromagnetic stimulation; use of a nanostar modified with a thermally-activatable drug, which drug is activated by a thermal response of the nanostar to electromagnetic stimulation; and the thermal response of the nanostar itself to electromagnetic stimulation, which can directly or indirectly cause the death of an undesirable cell.
