Component assembly jig
When plate-shaped components are inserted in the correct order and orientation into component insertion grooves of a component assembly jig, the component insertion grooves are blocked by the plate-shaped components, and the blowing of compressed air is stopped. When the blowing of compressed air from the component insertion grooves is stopped, the pressure in a compressed-air path increases, and an alignment-complete lamp is illuminated. Using the component assembly jig enables an assembly operation for overlapping the plurality of plate-shaped components in the correct order and orientation, without excess or deficiency, to be efficiently performed without error.
ADJUSTABLE CARRIER WITH CHANGEABLE CORE AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLIES
A carrier assembly configured to facilitate manufacture of a printed circuit board assembly includes a bottom frame defining a generally rectangular configuration and having a length and a width. The bottom frame is adjustable to vary at least one of the length or the width thereof. The assembly further includes a core releasably positionable on the bottom frame and configured to support a circuit board thereon. A carrier assembly system includes the bottom frame and a plurality of cores. Methods of manufacturing printed circuit board assemblies utilizing carrier assemblies are also provided.
Method for assembling a luminaire within an autonomous luminaire assembly and vending system
A system for assembling a luminaire comprising a housing, a computer-controlled manipulation device, and a parts repository defined within the housing and configured to carry a plurality of light modules, a plurality of luminaire housings of various luminaire housing types, and a plurality of optics of various optic types. The system further comprises a programming device configured to program a light module of the plurality of light modules to emit light having lighting characteristics. Each of the light modules are configured to be removably couplable to the computer-controlled manipulation device. The luminaire housings each comprise a locking tab configured to permit the respective light modules to engage therewith, thereby enabling attachment of the respective light modules to the respective luminaire housings. Each of the optics comprise a locking tab configured to permit a respective luminaire housing to engage therewith, enabling attachment of the respective luminaire housing to the respective optic.
Cable and connector placement fixture and method for fabricating cable assemblies
An adjustable fixture used in the fabrication of cable assemblies including a base, an adjustable frame, and a cable support arrangement attached to the frame. The cable support arrangement configured to house a cable position template, and a plurality of cable fasteners for attaching a plurality of cables into positions indicated by the cable position template.
Method for Installing a Pulling Head Assembly
A workstation and method for the installation of a pulling head assembly onto one or more conductors of a cabling system are provided. The workstation incorporates one or more of: a conductor clamp that holds the conductors of the cabling system in place during the installation of the pulling head assembly; a cutting guide having indicia marks that indicate the lengths to which to cut the conductors in order to achieve a staggered pattern of pulling eyes attached to the conductors in the pulling head assembly; a stripping tool that is used to remove a portion of the insulation from the terminal end of each conductor so that the end of the conductor may be inserted into the pulling eye; and a crimping tool that is used to crimp the pulling eyes onto the terminal ends of each of the conductors.
PROTECTION MODULE ARCHITECTURE AND ALIGNMENT TOOL, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PROTECTION MODULE PLACEMENT
A system, topology, and methods placing a protection module on one or more surfaces of a device, in particular on an electronic device. Architecture including multiple layer protection module and alignment tool. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
NON-CONTACT POWER RECEPTION APPARATUS FOR NON-CONTACT CHARGING AND ELECTRONIC SETTLEMENT PERFORMED IN A SINGLE PORTABLE TERMINAL
A non-contact power reception apparatus is provided, in which a power reception coil for a charging system and a loop antenna for an electronic settlement system are mounted on a battery pack and a cover case of a portable terminal such that the power reception coil is arranged in the center thereof and the loop antenna is disposed outside the power reception coil, so that a mode of receiving a wireless power signal and a mode of transmitting and receiving data are selectively performed, thereby preventing interference from harmonic components and enabling non-contact charging and electronic settlement using a single portable terminal. A jig for fabricating a core to be mounted to the non-contact power reception apparatus is provided.
Protection module architecture and alignment tool, system, and method for protection module placement
A system, topology, and methods placing a protection module on one or more surfaces of a device, in particular on an electronic device. Architecture including multiple layer protection module and alignment tool. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
FLEXIBLE SUBSTRATE RETENTION ON A REUSABLE CARRIER
The present disclosure is directed to a system to manufacture an electronic circuit assembly. In one embodiment, the system includes a flexible substrate with a substrate registration feature and a carrier with a carrier registration feature. A removable fastener removably fixes the flexible substrate to the carrier by being received into the substrate registration feature and the carrier registration feature. Once the flexible substrate is removably affixed to the carrier, the carrier provides the flexible substrate with rigidity to receive at least one electronic device of the electronic circuit assembly. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
QUICK RELEASE FEED GUIDE AND TOOL SUPPORT FOR TERMINAL APPLICATOR
An electrical terminal applicator system includes a die connected to a press. A one-piece member including a stock guide portion is homogeneously connected to a tool receiving portion. The one-piece member is releasably secured to the die using a first fastener. A male member extends from the one-piece member, and a female slot is created in the die slidably receiving the male member to permit the one-piece member to be horizontally positioned on the die prior to securing the one-piece member using the single fastener. A tool assembly having a tool mount block is movable to a desired position. The tool assembly is releasably secured to the tool receiving portion using a second fastener after positioning the tool assembly in the desired position.
