EVALUATION OF PRESENCE OF AND VULNERABILITY TO ATRIAL FIBRILLATION AND OTHER INDICATIONS USING MATRIX METALLOPROTEINASE-BASED IMAGING
The invention provides, in some embodiments, methods relating to assessing increased risk of developing atrial fibrillation (AF), and/or the likelihood of responding to particular AF therapies using imaging agents comprising an MMP inhibitor linked to an imaging moiety. The invention further provides methods for evaluating the presence of the risk of developing other cardiovascular conditions and assessing the effectiveness of treatment or other intervention for such conditions by determining MMP levels.
.SUP.18.F-labeled novel tetrazines imaging probes for pretargeting in PET imaging
Novel .sup.18F-labelled tetrazines are provided which are highly reactive to be effective in vivo, suitable for pretargeted positron emission tomography (PET) and accessible in radiochemical yields (RCYs) which allow access to .sup.18F-labeled tetrazines for clinical applications. The .sup.18F-labelled tetrazines are developed using a Cu-mediated click indirect labelling approach. Only a subset of compounds appeared to be suitable for clinical pretargeted imaging strategies, and a particular compound which includes the use of an .sup.18F-labelled azide synthon having an azide structure with glucose as the linker and a triazole moiety within the linker, appears to be highly suited for clinical pretargeted imaging purposes.
COMPOSITION FOR IMAGING ATHEROSCLEROSIS AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING ATHEROSCLEROSIS BY USING SAME
The present disclosure relates to a composition for imaging atherosclerosis and a method for diagnosing atherosclerosis using the same. The composition for imaging atherosclerosis according to the present disclosure shows excellent atherosclerosis diagnosis accuracy, enables diagnosis of atherosclerosis even for a person with diseases of glucose metabolism such as diabetes and enables effective diagnosis even for atherosclerosis occurring in the brain and heart. In addition, manufacturing cost is low compared with the existing imaging composition for diagnosis of atherosclerosis. Therefore, atherosclerosis can be effectively diagnosed by using the same.
MACROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS AND DIAGNOSTIC USES THEREOF
The present invention is directed to compounds (macrocyclic compounds) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, immunoconjugates, radioimmunoconjugates thereof, pharmaceutical compositions containing said compounds and immunoconjugates, radioimmunoconjugates thereof, and the use of said compounds and immunoconjugates, radioimmunoconjugates thereof, in nuclear medicine as tracers and imaging agents.
Pharmaceutical formulations
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a radiohybrid agent containing a silicon-fluoride and a chelating group wherein either the fluorine is .sup.18F or the chelating group contains a chelated radioactive metal, wherein the composition has a ph of 4.0-6.0 and further comprises: 0.1-200 mM citrate buffer; 1-100 mg/ml ethanol; and 5-10 mg/ml sodium chloride.
