CLEAR SUSPENDING PERSONAL CARE CLEANSING COMPOSITIONS
Compositions of the present invention include an anionic surfactant, a zwitterionic surfactant, a superhydrophilic amphiphilic copolymer, an organic acid; and a polymer selected from the group consisting of a non-hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable emulsion polymer and a non-crosslinked hydrophobically modified acid-swellable emulsion polymer, wherein, when the composition contains the non-hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable emulsion polymer, the non-hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable emulsion polymer is present in an amount of about 0.1% to 5% by weight, and when the composition contains the non-crosslinked hydrophobically modified acid-swellable emulsion polymer, the non-hydrophobically modified acid-swellable emulsion polymer is present in an amount of about 0.1% to 5% by weight, and wherein the composition has an NTU value of 95 or less, a yield value of about 0.1 Pascal or more and pH of from about 3 to about 6.5.
Cosmetic composition and a cleaning and caring product comprising the same
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition and a cleaning and caring product comprising the same, use and application method of the cleaning and caring product. The cosmetic composition comprises: a polymerization product, which is obtained by reacting a system comprising the following components: an anionic polymer, an amphoteric polymer and water, the weight ratio of the anionic polymer to the amphoteric polymer is in the range from 1:100 to 100:1 and the total weight of the anionic polymer and the amphoteric polymer is no less than 0.1 wt %, based on that the amount of the composition is 100 wt %; an optional cationic polymer; an optional active ingredient; an optional additive; and an optional cosmetically acceptable medium.
ANTISEPTIC FORMULATION AND ITS USE
This invention falls within the scope of sanitary and hygiene, and of antiseptic formulations in particular, including disinfectants intended for disinfection of water in swimming-pools and other artificial reservoirs, for sanitary and hygienic treatment of rooms, household equipment, furniture, household appliances and industrial equipment, as well as for disinfection of rinse and waste water. An antiseptic formulation contains nanosized particles containing both silver and silver chloride. An antiseptic formulation can additionally contain at least one amphoteric surface-active substance. In order to perform disinfection of water, nanosized particles containing silver and silver chloride are added into water at least once.
Method for preparing protein cage, and in situ method for preparing hydrophobic additive-supported core-shell structured polymer-protein particles
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a protein cage which comprises: a 1.sup.st step of preparing an amphiphilic polymer comprising a 1.sup.st hydrophobic polymer and a 1.sup.st hydrophilic functional group; a 2.sup.nd step of preparing a hydrophilic protein comprising a 2.sup.nd functional group binding to the 1.sup.st functional group; a 3.sup.rd step of forming an amphiphilic polymer-protein hybrid by the binding of the 1.sup.st functional group and the 2.sup.nd functional group, and forming core-shell structured particles comprising a protein shell and an amphiphilic polymer core by the self-assembly of the amphiphilic polymer in a hydrophilic solvent; and a fourth step of removing some or all of the hydrophobic polymer of the core part from the core-shell structured particles.
CLEANSING COMPOSITION
An aqueous, sulphate free shampoo composition for hair and scalp comprising:—a. a pre-formed emulsified silicone; b. a cationic deposition polymer; c. a hair substantive cationic conditioning polymer which is an APTAC polymer having a molecular weight of less than 1 million Daltons, preferably selected from a homopolymer of (3-acrylamidopropyl) trimethyl ammonium chloride and a (3-acrylamidopropyl) trimethyl ammonium chloride/acrylamide copolymer; d. a total amount of anionic surfactant, amphoteric surfactant and zwitterionic surfactant consisting of: (i) from 3 wt % to 13 wt %, by weight of the total composition at 100% activity, of an alpha olefin sulfonate anionic surfactant of general formula (I): R.sup.1—CH═CH—CH.sub.2—SO.sub.3.sup.−M+(I) in which R.sup.1 is selected from linear or branched alkyl groups having from 11 to 13 carbon atoms and mixtures thereof; and M is a solubilizing cation; (ii) from 1 to 6%, by weight of an amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactant, selected from an alkyl betaine of general formula (II) R.sup.2—N.sup.+(CH.sub.3).sub.2—CH.sub.2—COO.sup.−M.sup.+(II) wherein R.sup.2=C12 (Lauryl) or Coco derived; an alkyl hydroxy sultaine of general formula (III), R.sup.3—N.sup.+(CH.sub.3).sub.2—CH.sub.2—CH(OH)—CH.sub.2—SO.sub.3M.sup.+(III) wherein R.sup.3=C12 (Lauryl) or Coco derived; an alkyl aminopropyl hydroxy sultaine of general formula (IV), R.sup.4—CO—NH—(CH.sub.2).sub.3—N.sup.+(CH.sub.3).sub.2—CH.sub.2—CH(OH)—CH.sub.2—SO.sub.3.sup.−M.sup.+(IV) wherein R.sup.4=C12 (Lauryl) or Coco derived; an alkyl amphoacetate of general formula (V), R.sup.5—CO—NH—(CH.sub.2).sub.2—N(CH.sub.2—CH.sub.2—OH)(CH.sub.2—COO.sup.−M.sup.+) (V) wherein R.sup.5=C12 (Lauryl) or Coco derived; and mixtures thereof; and e. a suspending agent in which the weight ratio of (i) to (ii) ranges from 1:1 to 6:1 and the pH of the composition is from 3 to 6.5; and wherein the composition has a viscosity from 3,500 to 15,000 mPa.Math.s, preferably from 4,000 to 12,000 mPa.Math.s when measured using a Brookfield V2 viscometer using a spindle RTV5, for 1 minute at 20 rpm at 30° C. results in superior deposition and retention of silicone on hair.
PERSONAL CLEANSING COMPOSITIONS
An aqueous shampoo composition comprising: —a. a pre-formed emulsified silicone; b. a cationic deposition polymer; c. a hair substantive cationic conditioning polymer which is an APTAC polymer, having a molecular weight of less than 1 million Daltons, preferably selected from a homopolymer of (3-acrylamidopropyl) trimethyl ammonium chloride and a (3-acrylamidopropyl) trimethyl ammonium chloride/acrylamide copolymer; d. from 3 to less than 12 wt %, preferably 5 to less than 10 wt %, based on total weight of the composition, of a cleansing surfactant, which has an average degree of ethoxylation of E.sub.n, where n is a number that represents the average degree of ethoxylation and ranges from 0 to 3; e. a co-surfactant which is a betaine surfactant selected from an amido betaine amphoteric surfactant of general formula (II): (II) where m is 2 or 3; R.sup.1C(O) is selected from linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated acyl groups having from 8 to 22 carbon atoms and mixtures thereof; and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each independently selected from alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or carboxyalkyl groups having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms and mixtures thereof; and an alkyl betaine of general formula (III): (III) wherein R is a coco chain, and mixtures thereof; and f. a suspending agent, in which the weight ratio of (d) to (e) ranges from 1:1 to 4.5:1 and the pH of the composition is from 3 to 6.5; results in superior deposition and retention of silicone on hair.

Oral Care Compositions
This application provides, among other things, novel aqueous oral care compositions useful for combining and delivering poorly compatible ingredients, in particular, chlorhexidine and polyphosphate salts, by formulating the composition with a surfactant.
Compositions with acylisethionate surfactant and methods of use
A composition comprising: (a) an acyl isethionate surfactant; (b) a cationic polymer; and (c) a water insoluble benefit agent: wherein the composition comprises less than 3 wt % amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactants.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing the following Components (A), (B), and (C): Component (A): a hydrophobic polymer which dissolves in ethanol at 25° C. in an amount of 1% by mass or more, and has a glass transition temperature Tg of 30° C. or higher, the polymer having the same electric charge as the following Component (B), or not having an electric charge; Component (B): a hydrophilic ionic polymer which dissolves in ethanol at 25° C. in an amount of 1% by mass or more; and Component (C): an ionic polymer which dissolves in ethanol at 25° C. in an amount of 1% by mass or more, the ionic polymer having a different kind of an electric charge to that of the Component (B). The cosmetic composition of the present invention can be suitably used in cosmetics for hair.
Cosmetic Cleansing Powder
A powdered cosmetic cleansing composition which contains specific amounts of at least one anionic surfactant, at least one polyhydric C.sub.2-C.sub.6 alcohol and at least one polysaccharide, and which is dissolved and foamed in contact with water. The present invention further relates to a method of cleansing the human body and/or hair using the powdered cosmetic cleansing composition.
