The present invention relates to a composition, preferably a cosmetic composition, and more preferably a skin cosmetic composition, comprising: (a) at least one particle, comprising at least one cationic polymer and at least one amphoteric polymer, at least one anionic polymer and at least one amphoteric polymer, or at least one amphoteric polymer, and at least one non-polymeric acid having two or more pKa values or salt(s) thereof or at least one non-polymeric base having two or more pKb values or salt(s) thereof; and (b) at least one physiologically acceptable volatile medium. The composition according to the present invention is stable, and can have a variety of cosmetic functions.

WATER-RESISTANT COSMETIC MEANS FOR TEMPORARILY CHANGING THE COLOUR OF KERATIN-CONTAINING MATERIALS II

A cosmetic agent and a method for improving water resistance of a pigment-containing cosmetic composition are provided. In an exemplary embodiment, a cosmetic agent comprises (a) at least one anionic polymer A, (b) at least one amphoteric polymer B, and (c) at least one pigment. These cosmetic agents display an extremely good water resistance but may, however, be removed without residue in one application of surfactant-containing cleaning agents.

WATER-RESISTANT COSMETIC MEANS FOR TEMPORARILY CHANGING THE COLOUR OF KERATIN-CONTAINING MATERIALS I

Cosmetic agents for the temporary color change of keratinous surfaces, in particular human hair and human skin, contain an alcohol having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, a special anionic polymer, and a pigment. These cosmetic agents have an extremely good water resistance but can be removed without residue with a single application of surfactant-containing detergents. In addition, methods of temporary staining keratinous fibers and the skin using these agents are provided.

Agent and method for the temporary deformation of keratin-containing fibers

A cosmetic composition for temporarily reshaping keratin fibers is provided. In one example, the cosmetic composition contains: a) at least one non-cross-linked, hydrophobically modified (meth)acrylic acid copolymer b) at least one copolymer formed from at least one monomer (b1) selected from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, acrylic acid alkyl esters and methacrylic acid alkyl esters, and at least one amphoteric monomer (b2) of formula (I) ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 stands for H or CH.sub.3, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 independently of one another stand for optionally branched C.sub.1-10 alkyl and n stands for an integer from about 1 to about 20.

Cleansing composition with high fatty acid content

A cosmetic cleansing composition includes a) 0.1 to 30 wt. %, based on the total weight of the cleansing composition, of a surfactant selected from the group of anionic, non-ionic, and/or zwitterionic surfactants and mixtures thereof, b) at least one partially and/or non-neutralized, unbranched, saturated and/or unsaturated carboxylic acid with a chain length of 14 to 30 carbon atoms, and c) at least one non-ionic polymer of the formula (I) as set forth herein, where R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and n represents a whole number value from 1,360 to 99,000. The cleansing composition has a mousse-like texture and excellent cleansing and care properties.

XANTHAN STRUCTURED HIGH POLYOL LIQUID CLEANSERS
20190388314 · 2019-12-26 · ·

The invention relates to high polyol compositions comprising foaming, preferably mild surfactants. While xanthan gum is normally incompatible with such composition, applicants have surprisingly found compositions (having specified particles size) and process for making such compositions such that xanthan gum can now be used as structurant.

Hair cosmetic composition comprising silicones and surfactants, and cosmetic treatment process

The present invention relates to a hair cosmetic composition, especially for washing and/or conditioning hair, comprising surfactants and an oil-in-water emulsion that comprises: a silicone mixture comprising a trialkylsilyl terminated dialkylpolysiloxane and an amino silicone; a mixture of emulsifiers comprising one or more nonionic emulsifier, wherein the mixture of emulsifiers has a HLB value from 10 to 16; and water. The invention also relates to a process for the cosmetic treatment of hair, preferably for washing and/or conditioning hair, using this composition.

Anti-Dandruff Composition

Described herein is an anti-dandruff composition including at least two anti-dandruff actives selected from a punicalagin composition; a first monoterpenoid composition, or a second monoterpenoid composition; and a dermatologically-acceptable carrier. The two or more anti-dandruff actives are present in the anti-dandruff composition in an effective amount to treat or prevent dandruff caused by the proliferation of Malassezia furfur.
