The present invention relates to a particulate highly porous amorphous mesoporous magnesium carbonate material suitable for uptake of high amounts of oily substances, sebum or a beneficial agent or combinations of these and to topical and cosmetic compositions comprising such material. The particulate highly porous amorphous mesoporous magnesium carbonate material according to the invention has a total pore volume larger than 0.1 cm 3/g and is constituted of particles having a peak particle size at or below 35 μm.

SURFACE-MODIFIED ZINC OXIDE PARTICLES, DISPERSION SOLUTION, AND COSMETIC

Surface-modified zinc oxide particles having a silane coupling agent having an alkoxy group on surfaces thereof, in which the surface-modified zinc oxide particles have 5.0 × 10-2 g2/s or more and 1.0 × 102 g2/s or less of a penetration rate coefficient A of cyclopentasiloxane with respect to the surface-modified zinc oxide particles, which is indicated by A in the following formula (1). W2 = A.Math.t (1) (in the formula, W is a penetration weight (unit: g), and t is a time (unit: s).)

AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF A COSMETIC PIGMENT AND A METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
20220142890 · 2022-05-12 · ·

One of the purposes of the present invention is to provide an aqueous dispersion comprising a cosmetic pigment, which aqueous dispersion is stable with time, capable of forming a film with sufficient water resistance (water repellency), and provides a stable cosmetic preparation which does not cause caking; and a method for preparing the aqueous dispersion. The present invention provides an aqueous dispersion of a cosmetic pigment, water and hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose phthalate, wherein the cosmetic pigment is surface-silylated with an alkyltrialkoxysilane. The present invention further provides a method for preparing an aqueous dispersion containing the cosmetic pigment having a surface-silylated with an alkyltrialkoxysilane.

AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF A BLACK IRON OXIDE AND A LIQUID COSMETIC COMPRISING THE SAME

One of the purposes of the present invention is to provide an aqueous dispersion for cosmetics comprising black iron oxide, which has excellent dispersion stability, scarcely causes clogging to a pen type container for a long period of time, achieves good color development as a liquid cosmetic, and is capable of imparting the resulting film with water resistance. The other purpose of the present invention is to provide a liquid cosmetic comprising the aqueous dispersion. The present invention provides an aqueous dispersion comprising a black iron oxide, water and hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose phthalate, wherein the black iron oxide is surface-silylated with an alkyltriethoxysilane. The present invention further provides a method for preparing an aqueous dispersion containing the black iron oxide having a surface-silylated with an alkyltriethoxysilane.

TITANATE CRYSTAL PARTICLE DISPERSIONS

The embodiments relate to titanate crystal particle dispersions, methods of making the dispersions, and compositions and uses thereof. The dispersions and compositions containing the dispersions provide a high coverage to the skin and high near infrared/infrared (NIR/IR) reflectance. The dispersions include optionally surface treated titanate crystals used as cosmetic powders, and a cosmetically acceptable dispersing medium. The dispersions may be useful in cosmetic compositions as a foundation and/or as a composition to correct skin discoloration, and may be used protect the skin from sun exposure.

Oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic

An oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic and a method of making can be prepared in a system not containing a silicone and is surprisingly produced without a wet-type dispersion apparatus by using a specific combination of the oil component constituting the oily phase and a hydrophobizing agent for a hydrophobized powder. The composition includes an aqueous phase; an oily phase dispersed in the aqueous phase; and a powder dispersed in the oily phase. The oily phase comprises a volatile hydrocarbon in oil in a combined amount of 40% by mass or more with respect to the total oil content. The powder has a surface hydrophobized by treatment with a metallic soap consisting of a higher fatty acid and a divalent metal, or by a composite treatment with a higher fatty acid and a divalent metal hydroxide.

COSMETIC POWDER COMPOSITE AND COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME

The present invention relates to a powder complex for cosmetics and a cosmetic composition comprising thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a powder complex for cosmetics for improving easy-to-clean of the cosmetic powder with water repellency and a cosmetic composition comprising thereof. The powder complex for cosmetic of the present invention has a technical feature that the amphipathic copolymer having a specific structure is adsorbed on the surface of the hydrophobized powder. The cosmetic composition according to the present invention can exhibit an excellent effect of cleaning, with excellent makeup durability.

AGENT FOR FORMING FILM ON SKIN

The present disclosure relates to a skin film forming agent, and provides a skin film forming agent which comprises dimethiconol, hydride dimethicone and a cross-linking component, and thereby provides a skin film forming agent which has no problem of safety, and forms a film with high intensity, and thereby can solve peeling and slipping of the film and effectively improve skin disadvantages, particularly, wrinkles and elasticity.
