A dispersible powder includes a powder treated with a surface treatment agent, and the surface treatment agent contains a (meth)acrylic polymer having a repeating unit with a phosphorylcholine group. Thus, provided are: a dispersible powder having excellent dispersibility in an aqueous medium and high dispersion stability; and a cosmetic blended with this powder, the cosmetic being capable of forming a uniform cosmetic film and having favorable spreadability upon application, stretchability, adhesiveness, and feeling on use as well as high stability.
Agent for treating powder for cosmetic, powder for cosmetic, and cosmetic formulated using said powder
A treatment agent for a cosmetic powder is provided. The treatment agent contains a reactive organosiloxane represented by the following general formula (1) as a main ingredient: ##STR00001##
In general formula (1): each R.sup.1 is independently an alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms; each R.sup.2 is independently an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; R.sup.3 is a divalent alkylene group; n is an integer of 1 to 200; and p is an integer of 1 to 3. The treatment agent for a cosmetic powder of this disclosure is capable of imparting excellent lipophilicity. A cosmetic raw material having cosmetic effect and giving an excellent feeling of use, and a cosmetic are also provided.
SELF-ASSEMBLY TYPE JANUS MICROPARTICLE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to self-assembly type Janus microparticles and a preparation method therefor. The present invention can be used for preparing Janus microparticles in which a degree of phase separation is precisely controlled, for realizing stable interfacial orientation by selectively coating only one side of particles with a metal oxide, and for mass-producing Janus microparticles which have a degree of phase separation precisely controlled and exhibit extreme amphiphilicity in an anisotropic structure. Therefore, the Janus microparticles and the preparation method therefor according to the present invention can be widely used in various fields, thus contributing to industrial development.
PROCESS FOR THE ELONGATION AND/OR DENSIFICATION OF FIBERS
The present invention relates to a process for the elongation and/or densification of fibers, on a keratin material, characterized in that it employs a composition, especially a cosmetic composition, in particular a makeup composition, comprising at least: one volatile hydrocarbon-based oil, particles of at least one polymer surface-stabilized with a stabilizer, and a hydrophobic film-forming polymer, chosen from hydrocarbon-based block copolymers, hydrocarbon-based resins, and mixtures thereof.
MOUSSE COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a mousse composition including water, at least one C2-C5 alcohol, at least one salt, at least one amphiphilic polymer, and at least one hydrophobic surface-treated pigment, as well as to methods for making-up and enhancing the appearance of keratinous materials using the mousse composition.
Products containing charged polymer complex microcapsules and method of use
A microcapsule suspension for treating a protein-containing surface includes droplets of a dispersed water-immiscible core phase, an aqueous continuous phase, and a wall surrounding each core phase droplet. The wall includes the salt formed from at least one Lewis base reactant and at least one Lewis acid reactant, wherein at least one Lewis base reactant or Lewis acid reactant is amphiphilic and wherein at least one Lewis acid reactant is selected from the group consisting of proteins, protein hydrolysates, charged amino acids, and water-soluble salts of any of these.
