COMPOSITE POWDER IN WHICH JADE POWDER PARTICLES ARE IMPREGNATED IN POROUS POLYMER, COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SAME
The present invention relates to a composite powder of jade powder and a porous polymer, and more specifically relates to a composite powder (jade sphere) in which jade powder particles are impregnated in a porous polymer, the composite powder being produced by spraying, in one step, a dispersion in which jade powder has been dispersed in a solution that dissolves porous polymers, and to a cosmetic composition containing the composite powder, and to a manufacturing method for the composite powder.
Stable microcapsule compositions
Disclosed are stable microcapsule compositions each containing a microcapsule dispersed in an aqueous phase and a stabilizing agent. The microcapsule compositions are stable for at least 4 weeks when storing at 45? C., and the microcapsule composition is considered stable when (i) the composition has a viscosity of 3000 cP or less and (ii) 20% or less water by volume of the composition is separated from the composition. Also disclosed are consumer products having such a stable microcapsule composition.
Detection and treatment of caries and microcavities with nanoparticles
Components, for example, nanoparticles for detecting and/or treating one or more active carious lesions or microcavities in teeth of a subject are provided. The component or nanoparticle may comprise a biocompatible and biodegradable polymer (e.g., a starch) bearing at least one cationic region and/or having a net positive charge and thereby capable of associating with one or more active and/or early carious lesions on a tooth in an oral cavity of a subject. The components or nanoparticles are optionally water soluble or dispersible. The components or nanoparticle also comprises an imaging agent (e.g., a fluorophore or dye) bonded to the biocompatible and biodegradable polymer. The component or nanoparticle is thus capable of indicating the presence of one or more active carious lesions when the component or nanoparticle is associated therewith. Oral care compositions comprising such compounds/nanoparticles and methods of making and using the same are also provided.
INHIBITED STARCHES, METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING THEM, AND EMULSIONS AND FOAMS INCLUDING THEM
The present disclosure provides inhibited starches, methods of making inhibited starches, and emulsions and foams including them, and food and beverage products including them.
TREATMENT COMPOSITION WITH PERFUME-CONTAINING DELIVERY PARTICLES
A treatment composition that includes a treatment adjunct and a population of core/shell delivery particles, where the shell includes a polymeric material formed from a cross-linked amine-containing biopolymer, and where the core includes a fragrance material that includes ester-containing perfume raw materials. Related methods of making and using such compositions.
Microparticles comprising PCL and uses thereof
The invention relates to a process for preparing PCL-comprising microparticles, to microparticles obtainable by said process, to gel hence obtained and to several uses of the gel such as for the preparation of a medicament for treating a skin abnormality or disfigurement, and/or for controlling bladder function and/or controlling gastric reflux and/or for treating erectile dysfunction and/or for treating vocal cords. The gel may also be used for cosmetic applications.
Consumer product composition comprising a polyethylene glycol carrier with silicone particles dispersed therein
A consumer product composition comprises a non-porous dissolvable solid structure comprising from about 30% to about 95%, by weight of the consumer product composition, of a carrier material, and from about 5% to about 50%, by weight of the consumer product composition, of a hydrophobic conditioning agent disposed within the carrier material of the non-porous dissolvable solid structure. The carrier material comprises a polyethylene glycol material, or mixtures thereof, having a molecular weight of from about 200 to about 50,000. The hydrophobic conditioning agent is selected from the group consisting of silicone materials, organic conditioning oils, hydrocarbon oils, fatty esters, metathesized unsaturated polyol esters, silane-modified oils, and mixtures thereof.
SILICONE PARTICLES, AND COSMETIC, COATING, AND RESIN FORMULATED USING SAME
Silicone particles having excellent dispersibility are provided. A cosmetic material having excellent feeling of use, and a highly functional paint and an electronic material are also provided. The silicone particles include a siloxane as a component. A content of a hydrogen atom bonded to a silicon atom per unit mass is 300 ppm or less. In addition, the silicon atom in the siloxane as a component for the silicone particles is crosslinked with another silicon atom via an alkylene group having a carbon number of 4 to 20.
DELIVERY PARTICLE
The present application relates to encapsulated benefit agents, compositions comprising such encapsulated benefit agents and processes for making and using compositions comprising such encapsulated benefit agents. Such encapsulated benefit agents eliminate or minimize one or more of the drawbacks of current encapsulated benefit agents and thus provide formulators with additional perfume delivery opportunities.
Microalgal polysaccharide compositions
Provided herein are microalgal polysaccharide compositions and. Also provided are methods of using polysaccharides for applications such as topical personal care products, cosmetics, and wrinkle reduction compositions. The invention also provides novel microalgal compositions useful for improving the health and appearance of skin. The invention also includes insoluble polysaccharide particles for application to human skin.
