Germicidal Lighting Device
A germicidal lighting device includes an ultraviolet (UV) light source, a planar waveguide with a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and at least one edge surface perpendicular to the two parallel surfaces, and an optical filter. The UV light source is positioned adjacent to the edge surface of the planar waveguide to shine its UV light into the planar waveguide through the edge surface, and the UV light travels in the planar waveguide via total internal reflection. The first surface of the planer waveguide has a mechanism to reflect the UV light at an exit angle to exit the planar waveguide through the second surface. The optical filter filters a portion of the UV. Moreover, the light emitting area of the second surface of the planar waveguide is bigger than the light emitting surface area of the UV light source.
Apparatus, method, and system for selectively effecting and/or killing bacteria
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide an apparatus and method for generating at least one radiation. The exemplary apparatus and/or method can selectively kill and/or affect at least one bacteria. For example, a radiation source first arrangement can be provided which is configured to generate at least one radiation having one or more wavelengths provided in a range of about 190 nanometers (nm) to about 230 nm, and at least one second arrangement can be provided which is configured to prevent the at least one radiation from having any wavelength that is outside of the range.
FIELD OF REACH ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT DISINFECTING SYSTEM
A field of reach ultraviolet light disinfecting system includes a wrist band having two or more UV light emitters to produce a shower of UV light over the hand to disinfect pathogens that may be located on the hand and/or objects and surfaces in the light field of light dispersion the UV light emitters. A field of reach ultraviolet light disinfecting device has a top-hand UV light emitter configured on the wrist band to produce a top-hand UV light field that is emitted down over the top or back of a hand, when donned on a person's wrist. A field of reach ultraviolet light disinfecting device has a palm-hand UV light emitter that produces a palm-hand UV light field over the palm of a hand. A visible light emitter may project a visible light that overlaps the UV light field to indicate the location of the UV light emission.
Apparatus and Methods for Inactivating Bacteria on Surfaces and Mammalian Tissue
A device to provide sterilized surfaces and skin with the application of multiple bactericidal agents in combinations accentuating each agent's efficacy. UV, IR, and potentially others, in conjunction with minimal Ozone levels conditioned to rapidly move through the air surface/boundary layer for effective and timely activation of oxidizing effects on bacterial agents and secondarily through surface layer absorption for continued bacterial inactivation/oxidation after the stenlization event has occurred.
Airflow UV Quarantine Method and Airborne Infection UV Quarantine Device
A respirator comprising mouth piece, at least lamp mount chamber, and at least one UV lamp. The mouth piece has at least one interface channel, such that air passage from outside the mouthpiece to the user' mouth and nose is only allowed via the at least one interface channel. The at least one lamp mount chamber is sealingy joined to and in fluid communication with the mouth piece via the at least one interface channel, and has at least one opening configured to enable air passage from outside the lamp mount chamber into the lamp mount chamber. The least one UV lamp is enclosed in the lamp mount chamber, and configured to emit UV light and expose to the UV light the air traveling from outside the respirator to the mouth piece, thereby sterilizing the air.
Entryway Sanitizing Assembly
An entryway sanitizing assembly for neutralizing microbes on an entrant includes a frame, which defines an opening through which a user can pass. A first sensor, which detect motion, is engaged to the frame and can detect a user approaching the opening. A lamp engaged to the frame emits ultraviolet radiation into the opening to neutralize microbes on the user passes through the opening. A plurality of nozzles is engaged to the frame and is directed into the opening. A pump is operationally engaged to the plurality of nozzles and to a reservoir containing a disinfectant solution. The disinfectant solution is pumped by the pump to the nozzles to generate a disinfectant mist to neutralize the microbes on the user passing through the opening. A controller selectively actuates the lamp and the pump upon detection of motion by the first sensor.
Ultraviolet sanitizing apparatus
An ultraviolet sanitizing apparatus for elimination of germs, viruses, and bacteria includes a housing having a receiving cavity extending from a housing front side through a housing back side. A plurality of LED ultraviolet lights is coupled to the housing within the receiving cavity on each of a cavity bottom side, a cavity top side, a cavity left side, and a cavity right side. A power source is coupled to the housing and is in operational communication with the plurality of LED ultraviolet lights. A motion sensor is coupled to the housing. The motion sensor is coupled within the receiving cavity and is in operational communication with the power source to activate the LED ultraviolet lights when triggered.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISINFECTING HANDS
A system for disinfecting hands includes one or more ultraviolet (UV) light emitters configured to emit UV light into a hand disinfection area, and one or more reflectors configured to reflect the UV light within the hand disinfection area. In at least one example, the system also includes a dryer configured to emit drying air into the hand disinfection area.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL PHYSICAL STORE SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC STERILIZATION AND DISINFECTION FUNCTIONS
A multifunctional physical store system with automatic sterilization and disinfection functions includes a central process device, and a disinfection device, an order device, a sterilization device, and a serve device that are coupled with the central process device. The system is applied to a physical store. The disinfection device is applied for carrying out the disinfection operation on the environment of the physical store. The sterilization device is applied for carryout surface sterilization on the people entering the store. The order device and the serve device are applied for people to order and acquire meals. Therefore, the application of various devices facilitates a nearly dust-free and sterile environment in the store, lowering the possibility of virus or bacterial infection between people in the operation area and the customers.
