Further, the air treatment system includes an upper cowling configured to be disposed vertically above the lower cowling and define an interior upper cowling surface. A gap between the interior upper cowling surface and the interior lower cowling surface forms a fluid passageway comprising an intake opening, an exhaust opening, and a chamber. The fluid passageway is contoured to receive airflow from the fan via the intake opening and direct the airflow through the chamber to exit the exhaust opening. Moreover, the air treatment system includes at least one air treatment device secured within the chamber, the air treatment device configured to treat air passing through the chamber.

Systems and Methods for Decontamination of Patient Care Equipment and Interior Spaces

A system for decontamination of patient care equipment and a system for decontamination of an interior space. In some embodiments, a decontaminant distributor is provided in an enclosure and coupled to a decontaminant generator system. The decontaminant generator system may include a decontaminant generator removably coupled to the decontaminant distributor at an exterior of the enclosure for allowing the decontaminant generator to be removed and connected to another decontaminant distributor associated with another system for decontamination of patient care equipment. An air agitation system may be provided in the enclosure for agitating air and decontaminant in the enclosure. In some embodiments, a portable system may be transported to an interior space for decontaminating the items in the space using hot-air decontamination. A rack configuration for drying patient care equipment may include at least one duct having openings in a top and/or bottom surface thereof for directing pressurized dry air toward the patient care equipment.

Portable Medical Grade Air Purification System

A system, method, and air purification device. Air is taken in from an environment into the air purification system. The air is prefiltered. The air is filtered with a primary filter. The filtered air is treated with vacuum ultraviolet radiation in a primary reaction chamber to generate irradiated air. The irradiated air is treated with ultraviolet-C radiation in a secondary reaction chamber to remove ozone. Ozone and other contaminants are removed from the irradiated air utilizing a carbon filter to generate purified air. The purified air is emitted back into the environment from the air purification system.

A cartridge that is releasably connectable with a housing of a microfluidic delivery device is provided. The cartridge has a reservoir for containing a fluid composition and a microfluidic die in fluid communication with the reservoir. The microfluidic die is configured to dispense substantially all of the fluid composition in a horizontal direction or downward direction relative to horizontal. The cartridge also includes an air flow channel disposed below the reservoir. The air flow channel extends from a fan to an air outlet. The air flow channel comprises a first region disposed adjacent to a fan, a second region disposed adjacent to the air outlet, and a third region joining the first and second regions. At least the second region is angled upward to the air outlet, relative to horizontal.

METHOD FOR SANITIZING THE AIR

A method of treating the air with a sanitizing composition is provided. The method includes dispensing a sanitizing composition in the form of liquid particles and vapor from a dispensing device; circulating the vapor into the air; removing at least a portion of the liquid particles dispensed from the dispensing device; and reducing the level of airborne microorganisms in the air.

SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR SANITIZING THE AIR

An air sanitizing system is provided. The air sanitizing system includes a dispensing device configured to dispense a sanitizing composition into liquid particles and vapor. The air sanitizing system also includes a fan that is configured to disperse the vapor of sanitizing composition into the air. The air sanitizing system includes a filtering device configured to remove at least a portion of the liquid particles.

APPARATUS FOR VAPOURISING A LIQUID FOR SUPPLY TO AN ENVIRONMENT
20230255188 · 2023-08-17 ·

The invention is a vapourising device (10) for vapourising a volatile liquid for supply to an environment. The device has a housing 100 having an inlet (109) for receiving inlet air which is warmed by inlet heater (111) before being supplied to cartridge assembly (200). Cartridge assembly (200) has a reservoir (204) for containing the liquid to be vapourised and at least one wick (206), one end of which is located in the reservoir to receive and transport the liquid to the other, exposed end of the wick where the liquid evaporates and mixes with the supplied stream of heated inlet air. The wick may be heated by a wick heater (211). The device also includes an outlet duct section (217) between the wick (206) and the outlet (221) which is conical in shape and is configured to accelerate the flow of the mixture of inlet air and vapourised liquid away from the wick towards the outlet (221). The invention provides increased control of the vapourisation process and helps to reduce condensation of the volatile liquid back onto the apparatus or onto surrounding surfaces.
