A component for a vehicle interior configured to dispense scent in a vehicle interior is disclosed. The component may comprise a scent-dispensing apparatus comprising a module configured for at least one scent-dispensing cartridge (removable/replaceable) containing scent media. An actuator may be configured to operate the module in a bypass mode or for selection/actuation of a cartridge. A selected cartridge may be actuated from a sealed state to prevent airflow through scent media to an unsealed state to allow airflow across/through scent media and into the vehicle interior. The actuator may comprise a mechanism (e.g. slider, cam mechanism); each cartridge may comprise a valve mechanism actuated by the actuator; each mechanism may comprise a spring. The module may comprise a fan to provide airflow. The component may provide a user interface. The component may comprise a console, overhead console, floor console, center console, etc.

A real-time interactive collaboration system for aroma creation is provided. The system includes an aroma blending device adapted to deliver at least one aroma substance to the nasal cavities of a consumer; a plurality of aroma substance containing cartridges including a communication means for data communication between the cartridges and the aroma blending device; a web enabled device that stores a computer algorithm; and a cloud server that stores information related to an aroma creation session. The web enabled device is in communication with the cloud server and the aroma blending device.

A fragrance cartridge for a fragrance dispensing device is provided. The fragrance cartridge comprises a housing and a liquid fragrance container arranged inside the housing. The liquid fragrance container comprises a receptacle for containing a fragrance liquid, a pump mechanism for drawing a predetermined amount of liquid fragrance from the receptacle after being actuated, and an outlet conduit coupled to the pump mechanism to output the predetermined liquid amount from container. The housing further comprises an output opening in correspondence with the outlet conduit of the fragrance container, and an opening aligned with the pump mechanism of the fragrance container, for allowing the pump mechanism to be actuated. The cartridge further comprises an internal adjusting element arranged inside the housing and having an inner shape substantially matching the outer shape of the fragrance container. A housing and a fragrance dispensing device are also provided.

Provided is a fragrance-filling structure (100) including: an accommodating portion (110) which accommodates a fragrance-holding structure; a fragrance-guiding portion (120) which includes an inclined surface that converges on a fragrance pool and guides a liquid fragrance poured from an outside onto the inclined surface to the fragrance pool; and a first impregnated body (130) which includes one end that enters the fragrance-holding structure and provides the liquid fragrance accumulated in the fragrance pool into the fragrance-holding structure using a capillary phenomenon.

There is provided a novel aroma generator.

Provided is an aroma generator including: a cartridge holding unit equipped with a cartridge that holds a fragrance; and a control unit that automatically selects a type of the fragrance in the cartridge according to sensing information obtained from the outside. The sensing information may be external environment information and/or biological information. Furthermore, the aroma generator may further include an air blower that blows the fragrance in the cartridge, and the control unit may automatically change blowing intensity of the air blower according to the sensing information.

Also disclosed is a device for dispensing fragrances, having a housing including: at least two receptacles, each removably receiving a cartridge, each receptacle including an air inlet and exhaust, connected respectively to the inlet and outlet of a cartridge and also act on the closer of a cartridge in the receptacle to move them in the open position, a generator of air flow through the receptacles between the inlet and exhaust, and a control unit controlling the air flow generator and the inlet and exhaust and ensures an independent or simultaneous dispensing of the compositions in the cartridges in variable proportions and closure of the cartridges when the apparatus is stopped.

A fog generator assembly includes a water vapor generator, a fragrance dispenser, and a mixing element fluidly coupled to the water generator and the fragrance dispenser. The mixing element is configured to mix a fog of water vapor from the water vapor generator with a fragrance from the fragrance dispenser to produce an aromatic fog.
