Lighted air freshener assembly
A lighted air freshener assembly provides a fragranced odor and illumination as well as the ability to be hung from a support structure, such as a Christmas tree. The assembly includes a support base having a top wall, a bottom wall and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending between the top wall and the bottom wall. At least one light emitter is coupled to the support base. A scent device is coupled to the support base and includes a scented material for emitting a fragranced odor. A decorative casing is positionable over the scent device and is removably couplable to the support base.
FASHIONABLE PIECE OF JEWELRY THAT PROVIDES AROMATHERAPY
The present invention is for an apparatus for use as a fashionable jewelry that includes a scent tube positioned in a top cover. The scent tube has a recess and at least one hole that extends from the recess to an outer surface of the scent tube. A replaceable stick insert is positioned within recess of the scent tube and includes a substance that provides one or more aromatherapy benefits. A rotatable bottom cover is movable between an open position and a closed position
Device for evaporating volatile substances
The device for evaporating volatile substances comprises a casing (1) provided with a housing for the placement of a refill (2) containing the volatile substances, and is characterised in that said casing (1) comprises a surface (3) provided with at least one coupling element (5) in order to couple an additional element (4), said additional element comprising a frame (7) and a releasable sheet (8). It provides an evaporation device that can be easily customised.
SCENT DISPENSING DEVICE
A scent dispensing device comprising a porous material saturated with a scent composition and dried, such that the scent composition dispenses from the porous material when air flow is induced to pass through. The porous material comprises a dispense and a mount surface. The dispense surface is covered by a cover portion minimizing contact with the scent composition. A base portion joins the mount surface. An adhesive portion on the mount surface helps adhere the porous material to an air flow inducing object that induces air flow through the porous material, dispersing the scent composition in the proximity of a path followed by the air flow inducing object. The porosity of the porous material creates turbulence that releases the scent. A panel portion covers the adhesive portion until device is ready for mounting. A tab portion provides a gripping surface for removing the panel portion.
LIQUID OR GEL DELIVERY DEVICES
A delivery device is for intermittently delivering materials such as liquids or gels over a sustained period of time to a surface in a controlled way. The surface mountable delivery device is capable of delivering, an antimicrobial agent to protect surfaces from microbial contamination and/or to disinfect surfaces, e.g. door handles, push plates, hand rails, etc. as an aid in preventing and/or hindering the spread of infectious agents. The device uses a vertically lapped nonwoven material as the storage medium for the liquid or gel like materials within the device. A non-wicking liquid mediating layer to controls transfer of liquid from a reservoir to a contact surface of the device to minimize liquid losses. An elastomeric contact liquid delivery layer is optimized for printability. Use of physical features at the device contact surface prevents pore occlusion on user contact and aids flow of liquid to the contact user.
VOLATILE COMPOSITION DISPENSER WITH INCREASED MEMBRANE EXPOSURE AND VOLATILE COMPOSITION WEIGHT LOSS
A volatile composition dispenser includes a housing having opposing first and second walls that are joined along their peripheries to one another. The first wall has an aperture and the second wall has a plurality of apertures. Within the housing, rests a volatile composition cartridge and a gap, which exists between the cartridge and a bottom surface of the housing, wherein said bottom surface is formed from a joinder of a base portion of one or both of the first and second walls, and wherein, upon activation, the exposure percentage of the dispenser is from about 40% to about 90%; wherein at least about 60% of the total surface area of the plurality of apertures results from individual apertures of said plurality that each have an area of at least 30 mm.sup.2 and an aspect ratio of at least about 1:2. Dispenser of a similar housing, cartridge, and gap when is activated by a user and thirty days after said activation, exhibits about 70% to 90% weight loss of said volatile composition of a partially exposed membrane of a fully exposed membrane.
REFILL AND METHOD OF EMITTING TWO OR MORE COMPOSITIONS FROM A REFILL
A refill comprises, a container having a body forming a reservoir and an opening in communication with the reservoir, a first composition disposed within the reservoir, a second composition disposed within the reservoir and substantially separated from the first composition, a single wick in contact with the first and second compositions and configured to sequentially emit the first and second compositions. A method of emitting the first and second compositions includes the steps of emitting the first composition until the first composition is substantially depleted and emitting the second composition after the first composition is substantially depleted.
DEVICE FOR EVAPORATING VOLATILE SUBSTANCES
The invention relates to an evaporation device for evaporating volatile substances, comprising a container (1) housing a liquid (8) containing the volatile substances, an outlet (2) through which the volatile substances exit and a hole (9) for equalizing the pressure between the inside and the outside of the container, and characterized in that it also comprises a membrane (6) placed between the container (1) and the hole (9), said membrane (6) being leak-tight with respect to said liquid (8) and porous with respect to the gases.
This membrane prevents the liquid from accidentally spilling and furthermore solves the issue of balancing pressures inside the container, keeping the rate of evaporation constant until running out of the volatile substances.
Disinfectant pouch with fluid control
A disinfectant device including a pouch, the pouch including a first layer of material coupled to a second layer of material and defining a compartment therebetween. At least one dry reactant is retained within the compartment, the at least one dry reactant producing chlorine dioxide gas when exposed to water. A wick is at least partially disposed within the compartment. At least one from the group consisting of the first layer of material and the second layer of material define an array of ports along a periphery of the pouch and an array of fluid conduits, the array of fluid conduits being proximal to the array of ports, offset from the array of ports, in fluid communication with the wick, the compartment, and the array of ports.
