A cutting guide includes a first guide structure having a base, a first saw support, and a second saw support. The first saw support is attached to the base and defines a first saw contact surface. The second saw support is attached to the base and defines a second saw contact surface that is spaced apart from the first saw contact surface so as to define an elongated cutting slot therebetween. The elongate cutting slot defines (i) a first slot portion, (ii) a second slot portion that is contiguous with the first slot portion, and (iii) a third slot portion that is contiguous with the second slot portion. The second slot portion is interposed between the first slot portion and the third slot portion.

The present invention relates to a film cutter assembly in which a blade housing slides bilaterally along a pair of rails. The blade housing houses a blade. An elongated rail base is coupled or integral with a pair of rails. The rails are formed of a material which provides an attractive or adhesion property to attract the film to the rail and maintain the film in flat position before and after cutting. A double-side adhesive tape can be applied to a surface of the elongated rail base which is adapted for attaching the elongated rail base to a carton of film.

A reveal edge tile cutting apparatus is provided for. The reveal edge tile cutting apparatus has a tray with a top surface and a bottom surface, as well as a first set of tracks and a second set of tracks. Attached to these tracks is a vertical cutter featuring two cutting wheels, a horizontal cutter featuring a separate cutting wheel. A measuring device may be located on the top surface of the tray.

The paper cutting apparatus also includes a detection unit to detect the current value of the motor and a determination unit to determine the state of the current value while the cutting unit that has begun moving from a specific position toward a target stop position is moving from a downstream end of the paper to a predetermined target stop position in the movement direction of the cutting unit. A control unit is configured to stop the drive of the motor on the basis of the determination result of the determination unit.

A cutter for roll-dispensed stock is provided. The cutter has a retracted blade that can be actuated by depressing a button to move the blade to an extended position for cutting roll-dispensed stock.
