Solenoid valve with armature stop
A solenoid valve includes a housing, a bobbin and an armature. The bobbin is received at least partially within the housing and has and internal passage and a body about which a coil is provided. The armature is moveable relative to a valve seat and the valve includes an armature stop received in the internal passage with a press-fit so that it is engaged by the armature in one position of the armature to limit movement of the armature away from the valve seat. The valve also has a biasing member located at least partially between the armature and the armature stop, the armature has a reduced diameter portion received at least partially within the biasing member, and wherein the reduced diameter portion engages the armature stop in the open position of the valve.
Venous valve apparatus, system, and method
A venous valve with a tubular frame that includes an outer surface and an inner surface opposite the outer surface and defining a lumen, and a cover over at least the outer surface of the tubular frame, where the cover includes surfaces defining a reversibly sealable opening for unidirectional flow of a liquid through the lumen. A system with the venous valve and a catheter including a proximal end and a distal end, the venous valve located between the proximal end and distal end of the catheter. A method including forming the venous valve and reversibly joining the venous valve and a catheter. A method including positioning at least part of the catheter including the venous valve at a predetermined location and deploying the venous valve from the catheter at the predetermined location.
Mechanical stop for actuator and orifice
A valve includes a valve cover, the valve cover including a solenoid attachment portion defining a threaded solenoid attachment sink and a valve cover mechanical stop; and a solenoid, the solenoid including a solenoid body, a valve cover attachment portion defining a threaded attachment portion engageable with the threaded solenoid attachment sink, the solenoid body including a solenoid mechanical stop, the solenoid mechanical stop engageable with the valve cover mechanical stop; wherein the valve cover mechanical stop and the solenoid mechanical stop are configured to create a sound upon engagement with each other.
Plumbing fitting assemblies
Plumbing fitting assemblies are described. The plumbing fitting assemblies use a male and female fitting combination that enables a user or installer to make a sealed connection on an internal diameter of a female part or receiving end by way of an o-ringed shank on a male part or insert end. A connecting device is rotatably attached to the male end. The connecting device also engages to an outer surface of the female part such that the sealed fitting assemblies will not disconnect under normal pressure of a fluid or air working through the assemblies.
Pipe that is Friction Forge Bonded to a Walkway or Ladder through a Stud and a Bracket
In some implementations, an apparatus comprises a pipe, a stud that is forge-welded to the pipe, creating a forge-welded stud, a bracket that is operably coupled to the forge-welded stud, and a walkway operably coupled to the bracket.
Diaphragm valve with diaphragm seat carrier
A diaphragm valve includes a valve body including a valve cavity and first and second ports, and a valve assembly disposed to seal the valve cavity. The valve assembly includes a valve seat, a seat carrier and a diaphragm, with the valve seat being retained with said seat carrier and disposed to surround the first port and including a flow passage in fluid communication with the first port. The seat carrier includes an annular body having an outer rim and a web that extends radially inward from the outer rim to a central opening, the central opening being aligned with the first port. The web includes a plurality of flow passages separated by lands about said central opening. Each land has a surface area that is less than a cross-sectional area of said second port so as to reduce obstruction of flow when the land overlays the second port.
INFLATION SYSTEM FOR TUBELESS TIRES
An inflation system for tubeless bicycle tires may include a valve, a sealant canister, a pump head, and/or a valve core adapter. The valve, sealant canister, and pump head may collectively facilitate sealant injection into a tire by a user. The valve has an external valve seat, and includes a valve body, a valve stem extending through the length of the valve body, and a retaining mechanism for the valve stem disposed interior to the valve body. The valve stem is configured to move relative to the valve body, such that a resilient seating surface disposed at a proximal end of the valve stem is displaced relative to a valve seat formed by an exterior surface of a proximal end of the valve body.
FLOW CONTROL VALVE
A valve in which the flow control element includes a fixed disk and a rotatable disk, and a motor operable to rotate the rotatable disk. The motor is disposed in the bore of the valve, aligned with the long axis of the valve body and the axis of rotation of the rotatable disk.
Dispenser
An inline dispersal valve that can be used with or without a base. One embodiment includes a rotatable member that is rotatable from a fluid stream obstructing condition to an out-of-the-way condition to prevent fluid diversion into the dispersal valve. Another embodiment includes a lever handle for quickly setting the amount of fluid being diverted into the inline dispersal valve. Another embodiment includes an indicator that can be viewed from a position above the inline dispersal valve. Another embodiment includes a cap that can be secured or removed without the aid of tools. Another embodiment includes a clip that allows one to disassemble the inline dispersal valve for servicing. Another embodiment includes a dispensing valve that can be reversed and still properly divert fluid into a dispersant chamber. Another embodiment includes an inline dispersal valve with a bleed valve positioned to allow one to bring the air volume in the dispersant chamber to the proper level.
Valve with integral insert-cast seat and related method
A valve device includes a metal valve body defining a water passageway between an inlet and an outlet of the body. A valve seat of a different material than the valve body is insert-cast molded integral with the valve body. The configuration of the valve seat and the mass of the valve body surrounding the seat being sufficiently large reduces a chilling effect during molding such that a pressure-tight and waterproof interface is formed between adjacent surfaces of the valve body and the valve seat.
