Breast Pump
A breast pump is disclosed. According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a breast pump comprising a contact housing comprising a protruding part configured to correspond to a mother's nipple and extend toward the front; a first space-defining member coupled to the protruding part to define a first inner space; a second space-defining member defining a second inner space linked with the first inner space; a storage housing comprising a coupling hole corresponding to the second inner space, the storage housing being coupled with the contact housing; a lid coupled to cover the second inner space through the coupling hole of the storage housing, the lid comprising an air passage; a flow separation membrane configured to divide and separate the second inner space into a first portion and a second portion, the first portion linked with the first inner space, the second portion linked with the air passage; and an attachable pump module on the lid to suck air of the second portion through the air passage, wherein the attachable pump module is integrally coupled with the lid to be attached to and detached from the coupling hole.
CUSHION CONFIGURED TO BE MOUNTED TO AN AIR PASSAGE ELEMENT OF A BREAST PUMP DEVICE
Complexity of a process of mounting a cushion (40) to an air passage element (20) of abreast pump device is decreased by only requiring a user to arrange the cushion (40) on the air passage element (20) in a first arrangement in which the cushion (40) is easily accessible. Particularly, the user does not need to perform cumbersome actions aimed at accurately putting the cushion (40) to an intended, correct position, as a predetermined mounting arrangement of the cushion (40) on the air passage element (20) is realized under the influence of underpressure prevailing at a back side of the air passage element (20). In the process, the cushion (40) is put to the predetermined mounting arrangement, wherein the cushion (40) is made to flex and/or move.
Breast pump system
The invention is a wearable breast pump system including a housing shaped at least in part to fit inside a bra and a piezo air-pump. The piezo air-pump is fitted in the housing and forms part of a closed loop system that drives a separate, deformable diaphragm to generate negative air pressure. The diaphragm is removably mounted on a breast shield.
Discrete apparatus for the expression and collection of breast milk
Disclosed herein is a breast pump. The breast pump includes a milk capture system that includes a cupped flange. The cupped flange includes a nipple recess for receiving a nipple. The breast pump further includes a manifold which may be removably connected to the cupped flange. The manifold includes a nipple cavity in which vacuum suction is applied to a nipple. The manifold further includes a spout that drains milk away from the vacuum suction. The breast pump further includes a milk collection system which is removably connected to the manifold. The milk collection system includes a milk receptacle for containing milk expressed from a breast. Further disclosed is a breast pump system which includes a milk capture system, a manifold, and a milk collection system.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR BIOMIMETIC EXPRESSION OF BREAST MILK
An apparatus for biomimetic expression of breast milk can comprise a breast interface having an expandable membrane configured to mimic the geometry of an infant's mouth. Various regions of the expandable membrane may be configured to simulate the structure and/or function of various parts of an infant's mouth. The expandable membrane may comprise one or more of a distal sealing region configured to simulate the lips, a superior region configured to simulate the hard palate, an inferior protruding region configured to simulate the gums, an intermediate curved region configured to simulate the tongue, and one or more internal expansion regions configured to simulate the soft palate and the throat. The expandable membrane may have a varying thickness throughout the one or more various regions to enable movement of the regions similar to the movement of the corresponding regions of an infant's mouth during nursing.
Breast shield for a breast pump system
A breast pump system is provided with a suction tubing and a milk tubing, wherein the suction tubing and milk tubing each have first and second ends, and comprise a unitary tube structure. The system includes a first connector that has a first portion for coupling to a breast pump and the suction tubing, and a second portion for coupling to a milk bottle and the milk tubing. The system also includes a second connector that has a first portion coupled to a suction port of a breast shield and the suction tubing, and a second portion coupled to a breast milk collecting port and the milk tubing. A breast shield system with a flexible diaphragm and a cover is provided that may be coupled to the breast pump system. A dual suction path filter cartridge is also provided.

Breast Pump Insert
A breast flange adapter is provided to adapt conventional flanges provided with conventional breast pumps to the breast of the user. The flange adapter can be provided in a kit having a plurality of such flange adapters of differing sizes. The flange adapters are configured at a first or engagement end for operative sealed engagement with the provided breast flange of conventional breast pumps.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO IMPROVE BREAST MILK PRODUCTION
A breast pump having an areola stimulation assembly is provided. The breast pump may include a breast cup. The breast pump may also include a vacuum component that connects to the breast cup. Additionally, the breast pump may include an areola stimulation assembly, contained within the breast pump, that comprises an upper plate; a lower plate; and a mechanism that moves the lower plate with respect to the upper plate.
Colostrum collection device
A syringe receptacle device for collecting a liquid from an extraction device, a cylindrical barrel, and a plunger. The barrel has an inner circumferential surface that extends between opposite first and second ends. The first end of the barrel is adapted to be removably coupled to the extraction device. The plunger is slidably coupled to the barrel and includes a plunger head and an actuating rod. The plunger head is frictionally engaged with the inner circumferential surface of the barrel. The actuating rod is fixedly attached to the plunger head and extends out through the second end of the barrel.
