Provided are internal waterway assemblies for faucets comprising a valve assembly comprising a valve water way portion, a bridge comprising a passageway therethrough in fluid communication with the valve water way portion and the bridge having a spout receiving portion having a passageway therethrough; and a spout tube configured to be positioned in the spout receiving portion of the bridge. The spout tube is in fluid communication with the passageway of the bridge and configured to deliver water out of the faucet. Internal water way assemblies are configured to couple to any one of a plurality of cover plates for a faucet, the bridge is configured to be assembled to the valve assembly in any one of a plurality of fixed angular orientations to position the spout tube to fit within an interior space of one of the any one of a plurality of cover plates.

Multipositional faucet spout

A faucet that permits an installer to select any of a plurality of desired spout rotational ranges of the spout with respect to the faucet base. The faucet can include adjustable components that allow the installer to select a degree of rotation of the spout with respect to the base. The degree of rotation can be any suitable range between 0 and 360, inclusive, in either the clockwise or counterclockwise direction. When the degree of rotation is 360, the spout may rotate through multiple rotations of 360. In some embodiments, the installer can choose between a preselected number of rotational ranges. In other embodiments, the selectable range of rotation is variable and the installer can select between a desired suitable range.

Dual-lever water-saving faucet

A dual-levered faucet assembly which allows user to reduce water usage by 50% when needed while operating the faucet in habitual preferred manner of using swift single motion of hand. When any one lever is operated in this manner, the water outflow is 50% of a conventional single-levered faucet. When both levers are operated in this manner, water outflow is same as that of a conventional single-levered faucet.

Hybrid faucet assembly and water way for same

A faucet assembly is disclosed which is of a modular type for use in varying faucet designs and incorporating polymeric or partially polymeric parts in the internal water way assembly therein. The faucet assembly includes a cover plate and an internal water way assembly as well as at least one faucet handle. The internal water way assembly includes a valve assembly having a shank and a valve water way portion positioned on an upper portion of the shank. The valve water way portion defines a valve seat therein, and has a transversely extending outlet passageway. A valve cartridge for controlling flow through the assembly is seated in the valve seat, and, a bridge, which may be a single component or multi-part bridge has a passageway therethrough to receive water from the valve water way portion and a spout receiving portion. A spout tube is configured to be positioned in or on the spout receiving portion of the bridge. The internal water way assembly is attached to the cover plate.

Apparatus and method for attaching a tap to a mounting surface (13) has a clamping assembly inserted through an aperture (11) in the mounting surface (13) and tightened from above the mounting surface (13). The clamping assembly has a pair of clamping arms (25, 27) that are mounted for pivotal movement from a collapsed position for passage through the aperture (11) to an operative position below the mounting surface (11). The clamping arms (25, 27) are operable on tightening the clamping assembly to engage in a first stage an underside of the mounting surface (13) remote from the fluid delivery device and to engage in a second stage a sidewall of the aperture (11) when continuing tightening. Thus a step change in an operating force is required that provides feedback to an installer that a required clamping force has been achieved.
