Hydraulic suspension for vehicle and multi-functional proportional control valve for the same
A hydraulic suspension system includes a suspension cylinder, a pump, and a control valve therebetween. The control valve includes a spool reciprocally movable between a pump flow position and a tank flow position in which a control port of the control valve is in communication with a pump and a tank, respectively. A piloted logic element in fluid communication with and interposed between the control valve and the suspension cylinder is selectively movable between a through-flow position in which fluid can flow in either direction between a chamber of the suspension cylinder and the control port of the control valve and a blocked position in which fluid is prevented from flowing in or out of the chamber of the suspension cylinder. The logic element is biased to the blocking position, moving to the through-flow position when subjected to a crack pressure delivered from the control port of the control valve.
Pressure vessel and method therefor
A pressure vessel includes a pump having a passage that extends between an inlet and an outlet. A duct at the pump outlet includes at least on dimension that is adjustable to facilitate forming a dynamic seal that limits backflow of gas through the passage.
Pump having diagnostic system
Apparatus and method for supplying lubricant to a plurality of lubrication sites. Embodiments include a pump with venting and non-venting piston return, a pump with stirrer and direct feed mechanism, a pump with CAN system and self-diagnostics, a pump with heated housing and reservoir, a pump with stepper motor and overdrive control and a pump able to be used with a plurality of different types or of lubrication systems.
OZONE INJECTION SYSTEMS
An ozone laundry system that injects ozone into the chemical injection system in order to allow the system to inject ozone as other cleaning chemicals are injected into the washer. This allows ozone to be injected through the wash cycle rather than just during the initial fill phase and additional avoids the expense and maintenance of adding ozone recirculation plumping to an ozone laundry system. Accordingly, ozone levels may be maintained at superior levels throughout the wash cycle.
Diesel exhaust fluid systems
A diesel exhaust fluid system for use on a diesel-powered machine, including a storage tank adapted to store diesel exhaust fluid, a receiver, and a shut-off valve. The receiver is disposed in selective fluid communication with the storage tank and is adapted to receive diesel exhaust fluid. The shut-off valve is interposed in fluid communication between the storage tank and the receiver and has: a first position wherein diesel exhaust fluid can flow from the receiver to the storage tank, and a second position wherein flow is interrupted from the receiver to the storage tank. The shut-off valve moves from the first position to the second position in response to predetermined accumulation of diesel exhaust fluid in the storage tank.
Basement sewer drain recovery and discharge device
Disclosed is a basement sewer drain pump housing that draws fluid from a drain into a housing, where after the fluid is discharged from the housing and out of the basement. The device comprises a pickup tube having a fluid level sensor, which is placed within a sewer main drain or floor drain. The housing comprises an enclosed volume, a suction tube connected to the pickup tube, a suction pump, and a discharge pump. The pump is activated by a switch controlled by the pickup tube fluid sensor, the fluid is drawn into the housing from the drain and discharged through a discharge pipe. The device operates from outlet or battery and serves as a basement drain pump that prevents fluid and sewage backflow during power outages and plumbing blockages. Another modification provides two donuts to prevent the flow of fluid locking both the floor drain and the main sewer drain. Another embodiment show an inflator to stop the flow of fluids.
Air pump including storage tank including outlet port adapted to be opened/closed automatically
An air pump includes a pumping system, a storage tank, a discharge passage, and a valve. The discharge passage includes a first section and a second section wider than the first section. The valve is movable in the discharge passage. The valve, disposed in a first position, includes a first seal end disposed in the first section and abutting a periphery thereof and includes a second seal end disposed in the second section and abutting a periphery thereof. The valve, disposed in a second position, includes the first seal end disengaging from the first section and not abutting the periphery thereof and includes the second seal end disposed in the second section and abutting the periphery thereof. The first and second seal ends respectively have first and second cross-sectional areas. The ratio of the second cross-sectional area to the first cross-sectional area is at least 2 to 1.
NON-CLOGGING AIRLIFT PUMPS AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS EMPLOYING THE SAME
Non-clogging airlift pumps and associated systems and methods employing said pumps. The airlift pumps generally include an enclosed air tank within which is located a hollow cylinder having an open top and a closed bottom wall. A gas (e.g., air) line passes into the air tank for supplying gas thereto. A suction port is located in the bottom wall of the cylinder, and a substantially vertically-oriented discharge pipe passes through a top wall of the air tank such that an intake end of the discharge pipe resides within the cylinder. Multiple airlift pumps may be used in conjunction in a given application.
Air pump including air reservoir including outlet port adapted to be opened/closed automatically
An air pump includes an air reservoir, a discharge passage, a valve, and a pusher. The discharge passage includes a first section and a second section wider than the first section. The valve, disposed in a first position, includes first and second seal ends respectively disposed in the first and second sections. The valve, disposed in a second position, includes the first seal end disengaging from the first section and includes the second seal end disposed in the second section. The second seal end has a greater cross-sectional area than the first seal end. The pusher is movably retained in the air reservoir and is movable between a first position spaced from the valve and a second position abutting the valve. The valve is disposed in the second position when the pusher is disposed in the second position.
