Safety valve for a hydraulic or pneumatic tool
Provided is a safety valve (10) comprising a body (12) which defines an incoming fluid passage (14) and a return fluid passage (20). The incoming fluid passage (14) generally enables a fluid to pass from a fluid reservoir (18) through the body (12) to the tool head (16). The return fluid passage (20) generally enables a fluid to return from the tool head (16) through the body back to the fluid reservoir (18). The body (12) further comprises a diverter (22) which is displaceable between an active position and an inactive position. When the diverter (22) is in the active position, the diverter (22) redirects the fluid via a shunting passage (24) from the incoming fluid passage (14) to the return passage (20) to prevent operation of the tool head (16). Conversely, when the diverter is in the inactive position, fluid is allowed to pass freely through the incoming and return passages (14) and (20), respectively, to allow operation of the tool head (16).

SWITCHING VALVE, BINARY PUMP, AND LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPH WITH BINARY PUMP
A switching valve is used in a binary pump. The switching valve is provided with a first liquid delivery port to which a first pump unit is connected, a second liquid delivery port to which a second pump unit is connected, and an output port leading to an output unit that outputs a liquid to be delivered. The switching valve is configured so as to be switched to any one of the following states: a first state in which the first liquid delivery port is connected to the output port and the second liquid delivery port is not connected to any port; a second state in which the second liquid delivery port is connected to the output port and the first liquid delivery port is not connected to any port; and a third state in which both the first liquid delivery port and the second liquid delivery port are connected to the output port.
Hydraulic separator with reduced heat dispersion and control method therefor
A hydraulic separator for hydronic systems for heating and/or cooling, including a hollow body with a casing, internally defining a chamber; at least two first through openings for the delivery of a fluid, and at least two second through openings for the return of the fluid, said first openings and said second openings being made on said casing of the body and being suitable to put in fluid communication said chamber to external circuits by hydraulic connecting means, further includes at least a mobile element suitable for separating said chamber of the body in a first portion and a second portion, in such a way to reduce the opening section of passage and of fluid contact between said first portion and said second portion. The invention further includes a control method tor the hydraulic separator and hydronic systems for heating and/or cooling.
Fluid handling system for a fluid flow instrument
A fluid handling system for supplying a working fluid to a fluid flow instrument is disclosed. The system includes a controller configured to receive sensor signals indicative of a deformation of a flexible barrier located between a control fluid volume containing a control fluid and a working fluid volume containing the working fluid. Based on the sensor signals, the controller may send signals to control the operation of a working fluid flow generator in order to regulate or control the fluid characteristic of the working fluid being provided to the fluid flow instrument.

DECOKING CONTROL VALVE USING DYNAMIC ROD SEAL
The decoking control valve includes a piston, a cylinder, and a hydraulic rod seal at the outlet ports. The piston can move translational inside the cylinder along a fixed direction. The cylinder houses the hydraulic rod seal in a groove of the cylinder that places the hydraulic rod seal next to the piston. The hydraulic rod seal has a seal ring in contact with the piston, and the seal rings are activated. As the piston translates within the cylinder, the seal ring will activate at one outlet port and allow fluid to flow out of another outlet port.
FLUID HANDLING SYSTEMS AND METHOD FOR ULTRACENTRIFUGES
A fluid handling system is provided that includes a controller, a plurality of valves, a pump, and an interface in communication with the controller. The valves can be operatively connected with a conduit to along a flow path. Each of the valves is controlled by the controller for selective movement between a first position and a second position. The first position closes the flow path, while the second position opens the flow path. The pump can be operatively connected with the conduit and the is controlled by the controller for selective pumping of fluid through the flow path. The interface allows selective definition of the flow path through the valves.
Water recycler for a humidifier
A water recycler is designed to recycle waste water from a drip-type humidifying system. A water reservoir is provided with an opening to accept a drain line from the existing humidifier system. Additional fresh water is added into the reservoir to maintain a preset level via a float valve. The system is further provided with an internal pump which is activated by an existing furnace switch. The pump draws water from the reservoir and supplies it to the humidifier for reuse. As water is consumed by the humidifier, it is replenished by the fresh water system to ensure an adequate supply of water at all times.
Sampling system and method
In one embodiment, the present disclosure provides an apparatus and method for supporting a tubing bundle during installation or removal. The apparatus includes a clamp for securing the tubing bundle to an external wireline. In various examples, the clamp is external to the tubing bundle or integral with the tubing bundle. According to one method, a tubing bundle and wireline are deployed together and the tubing bundle periodically secured to the wireline using a clamp. In another embodiment, the present disclosure provides an apparatus and method for coupling conduit segments together. A first pump obtains a sample and transmits it through a first conduit to a reservoir accessible by a second pump. The second pump further conducts the sample from the reservoir through a second conduit. In a specific example, one or more clamps are used to connect the first and/or second conduits to an external wireline.
