SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FLUID PUMP OUTLET PRESSURE REGULATION
20170167329 · 2017-06-15 ·

Fluid pump pressure regulation systems and methods have a valve body with a bore and a valve spool. The valve spool connects a first and second port to a third port in different valve spool positions. The first port is in fluid communication with an output of a fluid pump to receive a first fluid pressure from the fluid pump. The second port is in fluid communication with a fluid reservoir. The third port is in fluid communication with a fluid pump input to provide a second fluid pressure to the fluid pump to control the first fluid pressure from the fluid pump. A linear actuator is adjacent the valve body, with a first spring and a second spring biasing the valve spool in a first or second direction.

A system and method of assembling a disposable fluid pump device is provided. The fluid pump device includes a pump body having a plurality of pump cylinders and at least one inlet selector valve for controlling fluid input to the pump cylinders. The method includes the steps of identifying at least one initial inlet selector valve position; generating, with at least one processor, encoded data representing at least the at least one inlet selector valve position; and setting the at least one selector valve to the at least one initial inlet selector valve position.

Double valve constructed from unitary single valves

A double valve includes a first unitary valve assembly and a second unitary valve assembly. Each unitary valve assembly includes a first outlet port, a second outlet port, and a spool. A first pilot assembly and a second pilot assembly are coupled to the first unitary valve assembly and the second unitary valve assembly, respectively. A plate is coupled to the unitary valve assemblies and includes a passage to provide a first common outlet passage that is coupled to the respective first outlet ports of the unitary valve assemblies and a second common outlet passage that is coupled to the respective second outlet ports of the unitary valve assemblies. When the spools are in a first position, fluid flows through the first common outlet passage, and when the spools are in a second position, the fluid flows through the second common outlet passage.

A control valve includes a body, a first end cap, a second end cap, an insert, and a piston. The first end cap, second end cap, and insert are removably secured to the body and define a first port, second port, and third port of the control valve, respectively. The piston is positioned within the bore of the body and is movable between a first position in which the first port is in fluid communication with the second port and not with the third port and a second position in which the first port is in fluid communication with the third port and not with the second port.

Sealing device having high differential pressure opening capability

A sealing device is used in a flow control apparatus, the sealing device including a static seal and a protective seal or fluid restriction. The protective seal is formed between two members formed from resilient materials being substantially resistant to wear or failure when exposed to large pressure differentials and associated jetting action. The static seal is formed using a sealing element that includes a material that is at least partially deformable, such as an elastomer or the like. The protective seal is engaged prior to engaging or disengaging the static seal in order to prevent damage to the deformable material of the static seal.

SAFETY VALVE DEVICE
20170051839 · 2017-02-23 ·

A safety valve device as for use with a compressed gas cylinder and/or a control valve comprising a housing unit, a plug with controlled bleed off channels bored into the plug, an actuator, and an actuating rod, which is designed to engage in the event that a control valve is severed from a compressed gas cylinder, at least partially sealing the opening formed in the compressed gas cylinder from the severing of the control valve, and achieving a safer, controlled bleed off of the compressed gas contained therein.

Control valve

A valve element has a packing material, whose one side surface touches and leaves a valve seat as a sealing surface, and a support member, which is driven in opening and closing directions of a valve section by actuating an actuator. The support member includes a supporting surface, which is in contact with a side surface of the packing material opposite to the sealing surface of the packing material, and an engagement part, which supports a peripheral edge part of the packing material in a manner such that the engagement part is engaged with the peripheral edge part. A ring-shaped fluid flow passage is formed between the supporting surface of the support member and the packing material, and this fluid flow passage communicates with an upstream passage.
