Medicament Preparation and Treatment Devices, Methods, and Systems
A medicament preparation system, according to an embodiment, includes a water purification module and a medicament proportioning module. The system is configured to allow convenient and safe use in a home environment or a critical care environment as well as others affording safety, reliability, and a compact form factor.
Concentrate container having supporting elements
A container for dialysis concentrates, in particular acidic dry concentrates, has integral supporting elements. When these dry concentrates are dissolved directly by a dialysis machine to form liquid concentrates, the container must provide a volume of 4-12 liters. To impart the required stability to the container, the container includes the integral supporting elements, which manifest their supporting function only when the container is used on the dialysis machine.
Medicament Preparation and Treatment Devices, Methods, and Systems
A medicament preparation system includes a water purification module and a medicament proportioning module that is interoperable with a replaceable fluid circuit. The fluid circuit includes a purified water inlet, a product medicament outlet, and a plurality of pumping tube segments. At least a first concentrate container is connected by at least a portion of the fluid circuit to the product medicament output and a first concentration measurement sensor station is positioned in a flow path. A controller is programmed to calculate iteratively a concentration of a first concentrate from the first concentrate container and the purified water from a signal generated by the first concentration measurement sensor station and to regulate one or both of a first pumping actuator engaged with the first pumping tube segment and a second pumping actuator engaged with the second pumping tube segment, responsively to the concentration of the first concentrate and water.
REGENERATIVE PERITONEAL DIALYSIS SYSTEM
Systems and methods of generating and regenerating peritoneal dialysate are provided. The systems and methods use a dialysate regeneration module, a sterilization module and concentrates to prepare peritoneal dialysate from used peritoneal dialysate or source water. An optional integrated cycler for direct infusion of the generated peritoneal dialysate is included. Optional dialysate storage containers are provided for storage of the peritoneal dialysate prior to use.
PERITONEAL DIALYSATE FLUID GENERATION SYSTEM
Systems and methods of generating peritoneal dialysate are provided. The systems and methods use a water purification module, a sterilization module and concentrates to prepare a bolus of peritoneal dialysate from source water for use with an non-integrated cycler.
PERITONEAL DIALYSATE FLUID GENERATION SYSTEM WITH INTEGRATED CYCLER
Systems and methods of generating peritoneal dialysate and using the peritoneal dialysate with an integrated cycler are provided. The systems and methods use a water purification module, a sterilization module and concentrates to prepare peritoneal dialysate from source water and infuse the prepared peritoneal dialysate into a patient with an integrated cycler. Optional dialysate storage containers are provided for storage of the peritoneal dialysate prior to use.
DEVICE FOR ELECTROKINETIC FOCUSING AND ELECTRICAL DETECTION OF PARTICLES AND CHEMICAL SPECIES FACILITATED BY A POROUS ELECTRODE
High-throughput microfluidic devices comprising one or more fluidic microchannels each with at least one flow-through 3D structure comprising a 3D electrode, or alternatively a 3D permselective structure, and optional secondary bead bed(s) are disclosed. Such devices can be used for counter-flow focusing of charged species via ion concentration polarization and in situ quantification of electrokinetically enriched charged species from an ionically conductive solution by both optical and electrical detection.
Fluid processing apparatus
A machine is provided with a slot to releasably receive and retain a cartridge in which dialysis is effected. The machine is configured for supplying to the cartridge, at a controlled temperature and rate, sterile water for use in haemodialysis and is operable to maintain, in a sterile condition, residual water contained therein after completion of a haemodialysis treatment.
INFUSATE HOLDER
The invention relates to an infusate holder for use in dialysis. The infusate holder can include one or more interior compartments for holding infusate containers or infusates. The interior compartments are aligned to cooperate with fluid connectors of a dialysis system, ensuring that the proper infusates are added to the dialysis system at a proper location.
INFUSATE FRAME
The invention relates to an infusate frame for use in dialysis. The infusate frame includes one or more openings cut-out of a rigid support frame. The one or more openings are sized and shaped complementary to one or more infusate containers, ensuring that only a single infusate container can occupy a specific opening.
