Encapsulated valve system and method of use
An encapsulated valve system includes a first housing portion having a first facing surface, the first facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the first facing surface. The valve system further includes a second housing portion having a second facing surface, the second facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the second facing surface. A disposable conduit is configured to be interposed between the first and second housing portions and disposed within the recess of the first facing surface and the recess of the second facing surface. The disposable conduit is thus sandwiched between the first and second facing surfaces. A plurality of pinch valve actuators are mounted on one or both of the first housing portion and the second housing portion, the plurality of pinch valve actuators configured to pinch the disposable conduit at selective branch pathways.
Faucet with multi-directional controls
A faucet that includes a housing, a first valve, a handle body, a handle, and a second valve. The first valve is disposed at least in part within the housing and controls one of a flow rate and a temperature. The handle body has an elongated base, which extends from the housing along a longitudinal axis and is operatively coupled to the first valve, such that rotation of handle body about the longitudinal axis relative to the housing controls the first valve. The handle extends from the base along a radial axis relative to the longitudinal axis. The second valve is disposed at least in part within the handle and controls the other of the flow rate and the temperature, the second valve operatively couples the handle to the base, such that rotation of the handle about the radial axis relative to the handle body controls the second valve.
Multi-ported refrigeration valve assembly
A refrigeration valve having a valve body having an inlet, an outlet, and a flow passage defined therebetween, an expansion valve in the flow passage, a first hand valve between the inlet and the expansion valve, and a second hand valve between the outlet and the expansion valve. The first and second hand valves are provided at a top of the valve body and are movable in a first direction for preventing fluid flow through the flow passage. By providing the first and second hand valves at the top of the valve body rather than at a bottom of the valve body, valve life is increased and the valves are not prevented from operating due to particulate build up in the valves.
Faucet with multi-directional controls
A faucet that includes a base configured to detachably mount to a mounting surface; a sleeve coupled to and extending upwardly from the base; a handle body disposed around the sleeve and configured to rotate about a vertical axis, the handle body including a vertical portion and a horizontal portion extending outward from a side of the vertical portion; a first valve disposed within the base; a second valve disposed within the horizontal portion of the handle body; and a spout configured to receive water from the sleeve and direct the water to an outlet of the spout; where the vertical portion of the handle body is configured to be rotated about the vertical axis to control the first valve, and the horizontal portion of the handle body is configured to be rotated about a horizontal axis to control the second valve.
Apparatus and methods for faucet-mounted water filtration systems
A faucet-mounted filter system includes a body forming a fluid chamber having a water inlet, a quick connect device positioned adjacent the water inlet for mounting the filter system to a water faucet, a filtered water flow path disposed within the body and in fluid communication with the water inlet, an unfiltered water flow path disposed within the body and in fluid communication with the water inlet, a diverter valve disposed within the fluid chamber and operable to open and close the filtered and unfiltered water flow paths, a seal, an actuator engaging the diverter valve to open and close the filtered and unfiltered water flow paths, a flow meter connected to the body and in fluid communication with the filter flow path, a filter housing connected to the body and having a reservoir, and a filter cartridge disposed within the reservoir.
Bi-Directional Valve Device for Selective Control of Fluid Flow Through Multiple Converging Paths
Hand-operated suction and irrigation medical devices are provided. An example medical device comprises a housing having a proximal end and a distal end. The housing defines first and second inlet paths and an outlet path. A first tubular member is partially disposed within the first inlet path and a second tubular member is partially disposed within the second inlet path. Each of the first and second tubular members extends from the proximal end of the housing. A third tubular member is partially disposed within the outlet path and extends from the distal end of the housing. A control member is slidably disposed on the housing and is movable between a first, proximal position and a second, distal position. A passageway provides fluid communication between the first inlet path and an opening to an environment external to the housing such that covering the opening provides control over the flow of fluid through the first inlet path and the first tubular member.

Provided is a refrigeration valve having a valve body having an inlet, an outlet, and a flow passage defined therebetween, an expansion valve in the flow passage, a first hand valve between the inlet and the expansion valve, and a second hand valve between the outlet and the expansion valve.
