Suitcase and method of manufacture thereof
A suitcase is disclosed comprising a first load container section defining at least a first part of a volume for receiving a load and a second container section for cooperation with the base load container section to enclose the volume. The suitcase comprises a base region provided with one or more wheel assemblies, and an upper region at or on which is provided a towing handle (30) adapted to be moved about a single point of contact (32) between a stowed position and a deployed position. This construction provides a towing handle that has the advantages provided by allowing for towing of a wheeled suitcase, while eliminating or at least mitigating the disadvantages of telescopic towing handle arrangements.
Suitcase and method of manufacture thereof
A suitcase is disclosed comprising a first load container section defining at least a first part of a volume for receiving a load and a second container section for cooperation with the base load container section to enclose the volume. The suitcase comprises a base region provided with one or more wheel assemblies, and an upper region at or on which is provided a towing handle (30) adapted to be moved about a single point of contact (32) between a stowed position and a deployed position. This construction provides a towing handle that has the advantages provided by allowing for towing of a wheeled suitcase, while eliminating or at least mitigating the disadvantages of telescopic towing handle arrangements.
Cooler having removable wheel assembly
A cooler includes a main body which includes a base, an upper rim, and one or more cooler walls extending therebetween. The cooler in some embodiments further includes a removable wheel assembly which includes two coaxial wheels, and an axle. The two coaxial wheels are removably securable to the axle. The cooler still further comprises a wheel fastening system configured to secure the removable wheel assembly to the base of the main body which includes a mount, a clip hingedly connected to the mount, and a locking clasp configured to lock the clip into a closed position to secure the wheel assembly. The cooler yet further comprises a lid including two wheel storage recesses, each being sized and dimensioned to receive and retain one of the coaxial wheel of the wheel assembly, and an axle storage recess sized and dimensioned to receive and retain the axle of the wheel assembly.
Cooler having removable wheel assembly
A cooler includes a main body which includes a base, an upper rim, and one or more cooler walls extending therebetween. The cooler in some embodiments further includes a removable wheel assembly which includes two coaxial wheels, and an axle. The two coaxial wheels are removably securable to the axle. The cooler still further comprises a wheel fastening system configured to secure the removable wheel assembly to the base of the main body which includes a mount, a clip hingedly connected to the mount, and a locking clasp configured to lock the clip into a closed position to secure the wheel assembly. The cooler yet further comprises a lid including two wheel storage recesses, each being sized and dimensioned to receive and retain one of the coaxial wheel of the wheel assembly, and an axle storage recess sized and dimensioned to receive and retain the axle of the wheel assembly.
COLLAPSIBLE LUGGAGE
A collapsible luggage includes a rigid base, a plurality of wheel members, a flexible body, and a telescopic rod unit. The rigid base defines a receiving space. The flexible body includes two side segments and opposite front and rear segments. The telescopic rod unit is disposed on one of the side segments of the flexible body, and is pivotable relative to the base between an unfolded position, where the flexible body is expanded so that the flexible body and the base cooperatively define an accommodating space, and a folded position, where the flexible body is collapsed, and the telescopic rod unit and the flexible body are received in the receiving space.
COLLAPSIBLE LUGGAGE
A collapsible luggage includes a rigid base, a plurality of wheel members, a flexible body, and a telescopic rod unit. The rigid base defines a receiving space. The flexible body includes two side segments and opposite front and rear segments. The telescopic rod unit is disposed on one of the side segments of the flexible body, and is pivotable relative to the base between an unfolded position, where the flexible body is expanded so that the flexible body and the base cooperatively define an accommodating space, and a folded position, where the flexible body is collapsed, and the telescopic rod unit and the flexible body are received in the receiving space.
Modular drawered luggage solution and system
A luggage apparatus and solution equipped with drawers and retractable wheels configured to facilitate the organization and segmentation of items packed for transit providing for ease of access of specific items without the need to unpack the entirety of the luggage. The apparatus is equipped with multiple compartments, as well as multiple drawers. Each drawer has a lock which is configured to bind against multiple sides of each drawer to ensure the drawers remain in the closed position even when subjected to shock. Drawers are further segmented with fabric dividers. A primary zippered compartment and top zippered compartment provide additional storage space. A carry-on embodiment and a large embodiment are disclosed. The carry-on embodiment employs solely fabric dividers in lieu of drawers, and has a retractable table integrated into the handle.
Hard sided wheeled case with compression-expansion
An embodiment of an article of luggage is disclosed, the luggage in one practice having compression and expansion capability comprising an interposed metal frame of split configuration having an expansion portion positioned between the split where the metal frame is attached to one side of the luggage. One of more expansion and locking devices permit compression of contents and also enables locking the luggage in its expanded shape.
