Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire including: a cylindrical annular structure; a rubber layer, which will become a tread portion, provided along a circumferential direction of the annular structure on an outer side of the annular structure; a carcass portion provided on at least both sides in a width direction of the cylindrical structure including the annular structure and the rubber layer; and an extending portion that extends from both sides in the width direction of the annular structure farther outward in the width direction than a ground contact edge on the outer side in the width direction of the tread portion, and that is provided in plurality on both sides in the width direction along the circumferential direction of the annular structure.
Tacky finish and textile materials and articles treated therewith
This invention relates to tacky finishes and to the textile materials and articles treated with the tacky finishes. The tacky finishes provide improved processing features for end-use articles that contain such finishes. The tacky finish may be combined with other adhesion promotion finishes in the treatment of textile materials. The textile materials and articles may be used as rubber reinforcing materials, such as automotive tire cap ply, single end tire cord, carcass reinforcement and side wall reinforcement. End-use articles that contain the treated textile materials include rubber-containing materials such as automobile tires, belts, and hoses. This invention also relates to the methods for manufacturing the treated textile materials and articles.
Pneumatic radial tire for aircraft
Provided is a pneumatic radial tire for aircraft that includes a radial carcass constituting a backbone structure of the tire, a belt (6) disposed along an outer periphery of a crown region of the radial carcass, and at least one protective layer (7) disposed along an outer periphery of the belt (6) and formed by a plurality of cords (9). The cords (9) in the protective layer (7) are curved in a sinusoidal shape and disposed in parallel with equal phase. An acute inclination angle between an amplitude center line of each cord (9) relative to a tire circumferential direction, a half amplitude a of each cord (9), and a wavelength of each cord (9) satisfy the relationship: tan >2a/>0.4 (0<<90).
Tire comprising a protective reinforcement
The invention relates to a tire with a radial carcass reinforcement comprising a crown reinforcement, itself radially capped with a tread comprising at least two circumferentially continuous cutouts, the said tread being connected to two beads via two sidewalls. According to the invention, the crown reinforcement comprises at least one axially discontinuous layer consisting of at least two bands each formed of at least one multilayer laminate, the said laminate comprising at least one multiaxially stretched thermoplastic polymer film positioned between and in contact with two layers of rubber composition, and, in a meridian plane, the axial ends of each of the said bands being respectively axially on the outside of each of the axially outermost points of one same circumferentially continuous cutout.
