Laying unit, device and method for producing a fiber composite component
A laying unit for producing a fiber composite component includes a drive device which is formed for magnetic cooperation with a running face, which provides a magnetic field and/or is ferromagnetic, to advance the laying unit on the running face. A device for producing a fiber composite component comprising a laying unit of this type and a method for producing a fiber composite component comprising a device of this type are disclosed.
Drywall banjo tools for applying joint type
Method and apparatus are disclosed for drywall banjo tools for applying joint tape. An example tool for applying joint tape includes a base configured to couple to a drywall banjo that dispenses the joint tape. The example tool includes an arm including a proximal end and a distal end opposite the proximal end. The proximal end is rotatably coupled to the base to enable the arm to rotate between an extended position and a retracted position. The example tool includes a corner wheel rotatably coupled to the distal end of the arm to enable the corner wheel to apply the joint tape along a corner drywall joint when the arm is in the extended position. The example tool includes side wheels rotatably coupled to the base to enable the side wheels to apply the joint tape along a flat drywall joint when the arm is in the retracted position.
Drywall banjo tools for applying joint tape
Method and apparatus are disclosed for drywall banjo tools for applying joint tape. An example drywall banjo for applying joint tape includes a banjo body. The banjo body includes a panel and side walls protruding from outer edges of the panel to define a cavity that is configured to contain joint compound mud. The side walls include a first side wall that extends between an inlet and an outlet. The example disclosed drywall banjo also includes a sloped mound configured to couple to and project away from the first side wall within the cavity. The sloped mound is configured to guide the joint compound mud within the cavity toward the joint tape travelling between the inlet and the outlet to enable the joint compound mud to uniformly collect on a side of the joint tape.
TAPE APPLICATOR ASSEMBLY AND TAPE ASSEMBLY
A tape applicator assembly for securing tape to a surface includes a body and may include a centering and locking assembly configured to automatically center and lock a tape assembly within the body for dispensing. The tape applicator assembly may further be configured for securing tape to at least one cable and a surface, wherein the body includes a tape-receiving cavity defined for receiving a tape assembly having tape with a tape center longitudinal axis. A tape applying assembly may be defined within the body that is configured to adhere the tape to both the at least one cable and the surface. A cable alignment assembly may also be defined within the body that is configured to receive at least one cable positioned against the surface and substantially align the at least one cable with the tape center longitudinal axis.
Adhesive tape dispenser for folded edge tape
An adhesive tape dispenser and applicator which folds one or both edges of tape being applied over upon themselves. The dispenser includes an edge folding guide having a planar surface, two inwardly converging edges and tape guides cooperating to fold the edges of the tape. A compression roller is provided to press the edges together. A method of threading tape onto an edge folding tape dispenser is also described.
System and method for sealing open ends of multi-wall sheets
A device and a method allow for adhering sealing tape to open end of a multilayer sheet, usable at the production line and at the installation site. The device comprise means for applying pressure and heat onto the sealing tape and cutting blades for removing protruding edges of the sealing tape after it was adhered. The method comprise providing of a sealing tape, attaching and adhering the sealing tape to an open end of a multi-wall sheet by means of heat and/or pressure and adhesive and removal of protruding edges using cutting blades.
Painters masking tape tool
Provided is a tape applicator tool for the placement of adhesive backed tape onto a surface. The tool comprises a frame unit having a handle; a rotatable spool which frictionally engages a roll of tape, a static front shoe which engages the tape by drawing the tape around the front shoe, thereby applying the tape to the surface, the front shoe having a slot, and a static rear shoe which forces to the tape towards the surface. The rotatable spool, the front shoe and the rear shoe are spaced apart in triangulation and are on parallel axes. The tool further comprise a removable measuring stop extending from the frame, adjacent the front shoe and away from the front shoe. Optionally, the tool comprises a removable cutter unit.
Taping tool having improved tape advance
A taping apparatus includes an elongate body portion having a moveable control member for controlling the advancement of tape and a head portion connected to the elongate body portion for advancing the tape. The head portion includes a first stop, a second stop, a guide extending from the first stop to the second stop, and a tape advance mechanism moveable along the guide. The tape advance mechanism and the control member are coupled to one another such that the tape advance mechanism is moveable in response to movement of the control member. The tape advance mechanism includes a rotatable cam and a needle that rotates with the cam.
Integral anti-rollback for injection molded tape dispensers
A tape dispenser system includes a monolithic plastic injection molded frame with an integral anti-reverse rotation pawl. To help prevent the free end of a roll of tape from accidentally retracting, falling back, and frustratingly bonding onto the coiled portion of the tape, the pawl engages the inner diameter of a cardboard spool that holds the roll of tape. Strategically located mold parting lines and certain air gaps allow injection molding of a dispenser frame that has two spool-supporting sidewalls plus the integral pawl.
