Method for forming separation starting point and separation method
A starting point for separating a separation layer and a layer to be separated is formed in a process member. A first step of irradiating a first portion of the process member with first laser light in a frame-like shape and a second step of irradiating at least part of a region which is irradiated with the first laser light with second laser light are performed. The process member includes a first substrate, the separation layer, the layer to be separated, and an adhesive layer which are stacked in this order. In the first portion, the adhesive layer overlaps with the first substrate with the separation layer and the layer to be separated provided therebetween. In the first step, the first laser light is absorbed by at least the layer to be separated and the adhesive layer. In the second step, the second laser light is absorbed by at least the separation layer.
Method and apparatus for display screen shield replacement
A method and apparatus for replacement of damages display shield (typically glass) covering a display screen on a device, typically a mobile phone. Mobile phones have an electronic display protected by a glass shield. Between the glass and the display is often a plastic polarizing or other intermediary sheet. Removal of a damage glass can be accomplished by cutting thru the polarizer with a moving wire or blade. This separates the glass from the sensitive display and allows replacement of the glass without damaging the more expensive display.
Method for debonding temporarily adhesive-bonded carrier-workpiece pair by using high pressure solvent
A method of debonding a temporarily adhesive-bonded carrier-workpiece pair employs a stream of a solvent at a high pressure. The carrier and the workpiece are bonded with an adhesive that is dissolvable in a selected solvent. The workpiece such as a device wafer may have been thinned and processed. The solvent is applied to the adhesive at a high pressure to debond and dissolve the adhesive with high throughput. The dissolved adhesive can be recycled and later reused, thus lowering the cost of the whole bonding and debonding process.

Peeling bar for peeling polarizing film from panel, peeling apparatus and peeling method using the same
The present invention relates to a peeling bar, apparatus, and method for peeling a polarizing film from a panel. This invention can minimize friction between the peeling bar and the polarizing film since the peeled polarizing film is in contact with a roller of the peeling bar. The radius of the roller of the peeling bar and the inclined surface of the fixing unit are designed to minimize the Z-axis component of a shearing force applied to the polarizing film. Also, in order to equalize tension applied to the polarizing film in a peeling process, this invention makes both ends of the polarizing film closely adhere to the peeling bar. According to this invention, fracture of the polarizing film is prevented, and thereby the polarizing film can be stably peeled from the panel without fracture.
Peeling bar for peeling polarizing film from panel, peeling apparatus and peeling method using the same
The present invention relates to a peeling bar, apparatus, and method for peeling a polarizing film from a panel. This invention can minimize friction between the peeling bar and the polarizing film since the peeled polarizing film is in contact with a tip of a front part of the peeling bar. The radius of a curved surface at the tip of the front part and an inclined upper surface of the front part are designed to minimize the Z-axis component of a shearing force applied to the polarizing film.
This invention can minimize friction between the peeling bar and the polarizing film since the peeled polarizing film is in contact with a main roller of the peeling bar. The radius of the main roller of the peeling bar and the inclined surface of the fixing unit are designed to minimize the Z-axis component of a shearing force applied to the polarizing film.
Separation method, separation apparatus, and separation system
A method includes: a first step of disposing the superposed substrate at a position where the superposed substrate is not in contact with a first holding unit and a second holding unit in a space between the first holding unit and the second holding unit, and supplying an inert gas into the space; a second step of thereafter relatively moving the first holding unit and the second holding unit in the vertical direction, and holding the processing target substrate by the first holding unit and holding the supporting substrate by the second holding unit; and a third step of thereafter relatively moving the first holding unit and the second holding unit in the horizontal direction while heating the processing target substrate held by the first holding unit and the supporting substrate held by the second holding unit, to separate the processing target substrate and the supporting substrate from each other.
Method and apparatus for processing display laminate
An apparatus for processing display laminate, wherein the display laminate includes a front electrode layer, a display material layer and a protective film layer. The display laminate is continuous. A section of protective film layer is continuously removed from the edge of the display laminate by a cutting unit while the display laminate is running through the cutting unit. After removing the section of the protective film layer, a section of the display material layer located at the same edge as the removed section of the protecting film layer is continuously removed by spraying medium in a spraying unit while the display laminate is running through the spraying unit.
