Anchor driver
A wedge anchor driver comprising: a first member having a first opening configured to fit onto the nut of a wedge anchor and a second opening configured to receive a predetermined length of the outer end of the wedge anchor's bolt; and a second member associated with the first member, wherein the second member's distal end is configured to fit, and be lockable, into the chuck of a hammer drill, such that, after the wedge anchor driver is locked into the chuck of the hammer drill, a user can drive the wedge anchor into a corresponding hole with the hammer drill in hammer mode and then tighten the nut of the wedge anchor by switching the hammer drill from hammer mode to drill mode.
Clamping fixture
The invention relates to a clamping fixture comprising a chuck (1) and for locking thereto a workpiece pallet (2). The chuck (1) comprises first centering members in the form of centering spigots (5) whilst said workpiece pallet (2) is provided with a main body (20) and secured thereto a centering disk (23). The centering disk (23) is provided with second centering members in the form of centering openings (24). The centering spigots (5) of the workpiece pallet (2) are adapted to the centering openings (24) of the workpiece pallet (2) that the latter is alignable in the X-direction and Y-direction on clamping to the chuck (1). Provided topping the chuck (1) is a sealing member assembly (7). Disposed between the centering disk (23) and the main body (20) of the workpiece pallet (2) is a sealing disk (21) which overhangs the centering disk (23) radially. The portion of the sealing disk (21) overhanging the centering disk (23) radially is configured such that said portion sealingly comes into contact with a sealing member of the sealing member assembly (7) when clamping the workpiece pallet (2).
Chuck tool and bits
A tool arrangement and chuck apparatus for quick change of a range of tools; particularly, a quick change chuck adapted to engage various diameter drill bits, tools and tool holders. The tools are rotatable in a chuck or adaptor and have at one end a centering shaft portion having a constant diameter for multiple tool end diameters and shapes, a drive shoulder portion and a lock portion. The chucks have a tool centering arrangement for accommodating the constant diameter centering shaft. The chucks are also described as having tool bit release mechanism operable to disengage the tool from a retention mechanism when a force is applied inwards of the body of the chuck by the user to allow the tool bit to be removed longitudinally from the chuck but also arrange to allow the tool bit to be inserted longitudinally into the chuck without requiring any other user operation.
