Locking arrangement
This invention relates to a locking arrangement 10 which includes a body 12 and a locking member 14 which is displaceable relative to the body 12. The locking member 14 defines at least one striker element engagement formation 18.1, 18.2 which is configured to engage a striker element 100 for part of its displacement relative to the locking arrangement 10 along a predetermined displacement path. The locking member 14 is displaceable between first and second spaced apart positions in each of which the engagement formation 18.1, 18.2 is positioned such that a said striker element 100 is releasably engageable therewith and between which a said striker element 100 is in engagement with the engagement formation 18.1, 18.2. The locking arrangement 10 further includes a securing mechanism 16 which is configured to secure the locking member 14 releasably in at least one of the first and second spaced apart positions.
Lock for a vehicle door with a spring plate in the inlet region of the locking bolt
A lock is provided especially for a door (2) or flap of a motor vehicle. Said lock has a lock housing (3) and a locking mechanism having a rotary latch (4) and a pawl, wherein the rotary latch (4) is arranged pivotably about an axis (22) and interacts with a locking bow (9), which is assigned to the bodywork (8), during the opening and closing of the door (2). At least one spring plate (15) which is oriented substantially parallel to the rotary latch (4) and surrounds the locking bow (9) in the locking position of the lock is arranged in the lock inlet region of the lock housing (3).
Electrical Vehicle Latch
A vehicle latch (1) comprising a ratchet (15); a primary pawl (25) movable between a ratchet checking position and a ratchet release position; an auxiliary ratchet (26) movable between an enabling position and a disabling position; a secondary pawl (27) movable between an auxiliary ratchet holding position, in which the secondary pawl (27) is positioned to hold the auxiliary ratchet (26) in its enabling position, and an auxiliary ratchet release position; electrically-operated actuator means (6) for moving the secondary pawl (27) to the auxiliary ratchet release position and the auxiliary ratchet (26) to the enabling position; a back-up mechanism (7) for moving the secondary pawl (27) to the auxiliary ratchet release position or the auxiliary ratchet (26) to the enabling position; and an inhibiting lever (81) for selectively preventing interaction of the back-up mechanism (7) with the auxiliary ratchet (26).
