SCREEN DOOR LATCH
20240254815 · 2024-08-01 · ·

A door latch assembly includes a housing, an inside and outside handle operably coupled with the housing, and a latch plunger. A latch cam is operably coupled with the inside and outside handles, and the latch cam further includes a crank arm slidably disposed against an inclined surface of an offset plunger leg operably coupled to the latch plunger. A biasing member urges the latch plunger to an extended position, wherein rotation of the inside or outside door latch handle in a first direction rotates the crank arm of the latch cam and displaces the plunger leg of the latch plunger and the latch plunger to a retracted position against the urging of the biasing member.

DOOR LOCKING DEVICE AND WASHING MACHINE HAVING THE SAME

In a washing machine having a door locking device that allows a door to keep an opening closed, the door locking device includes a latch configured to move in a first direction to restrict the door and move in a second direction, which is opposite the first direction, to release the restriction on the door and a locker configured to limit movement of the latch in the second direction. By such a configuration, the door can be opened/closed, restricted, and opened using a single device.

GATE LATCH ASSEMBLY

A gate latch assembly including an actuating member, a moveable rod, and a strike plate. The actuating member transfers movement of a first handle to a second handle. The actuating member includes a cam surface which interacts with the moveable rod to transition the gate latch assembly from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration. A biasing element biases the actuating member.

Front Pull Latch

A latch that can be unlatched with a force exerted on a front handle of a drawer or other enclosure. The latch includes an end cap that interacts with a cam surface of a body and, upon doing so, disengages the catch from an opening on a strike plate or cabinet body. When the catch is disengaged, the latch can allow for the opening of the enclosure. The latch therefore allows for a simple forward motion to open and close the latch, and further allows the latch to be used with many different enclosures.

Combination sash lock and tilt latch with improved interconnection for blind mating of the latch to the lock

A combination sash lock and tilt latch in one integral fastener may suitably secure a sash window that is slidable and tiltable with respect to a master window frame. The fastener includes a lock assembly and latch assembly. The lock assembly is releasably mounted upon the meeting rail of the sash window without screws, using legs received within corresponding openings in the rail. The lock assembly is secured thereto by a biasing member causing engagement between the legs and rail openings. The lock assembly includes a pivotable cam to releasably engage a keeper on the master frame, and a pivotable arm extending into the meeting rail. The latch assembly includes biasing means and a latch member, which includes a fixed funnel member and a flexible funnel member on a distal end of a flexible beam, to blindly engage the lock assembly arm within the meeting rail, when installed therein.

The invention relates to a door lock having an oblique bolt. In the invention, stress of the parts of the oblique bolt susceptible to wear is reduced, wherein they remain functional longer. The oblique bolt consists of slanted surfaces on both sides such that the tip part is narrower at its tip than in the back part of the tip part. The tip part has recesses in its lower part and upper part, which extend from the tip to the back part. Both recesses are open at the end of the tip of the tip part and on the other slanted surface such that the recess of the upper part is open on the opposite slanted surface than the recess of the lower part. Both recesses have a turning piece.

The parts forming the force transmission connection from the spindle shaft of the handle of the lock body to the bolt include a spring, which is also arranged to transfer force. The spring is used to eliminate the protrusion of the bolt caused by tolerance variations, when the handle installed into the lock body is turned to its extreme position to open the door.

Latch assembly

A latch assembly disposed in an anti-fire door includes a tube, a blocking pin, an elastic member and a wedging member, wherein the tube comprises a main body and an accommodating space. The main body comprises a constraining slot communicating with the accommodating space, wherein the blocking pin, the elastic member and the wedging member are disposed in the accommodating space. The elastic member is used for pushing the blocking pin and the wedging member to move and making the blocking pin protruding to the tube and lodging in a door frame. The wedging member lodged in the constraining slot is used for blocking the blocking pin protruded to the tube therefore preventing the blocking pin from retracting back into the accommodating space.

ONE-MOTION TABLE LATCH

A latch assembly (110) can include a latch rail (314), a latch body (312), and a biasing mechanism (322). The latch rail can include a first end (318) and a second end. The first end can couple to a back portion of a seat that includes a table body. The latch body (312) can couple to the second end of the latch rail (314) such that the latch body can move between a first position and a second position relative to the latch rail. The latch body can prevent the table body from moving between a stowed position and a stowed position while in the first position. The latch body can allow the table body to move between the stowed position and the deployed position in the second position. The biasing mechanism (322) can couple to the latch body (312) and can bias the latch body into the first position.
