ELECTRIC DOOR STRIKE KEEPER
An actuator-controlled electric strike for operating in conjunction with a spring latch of a lockset is provided. The strike comprises a housing having an entry chamber therein, and a spring latch keeper disposed in the entry chamber for movement between a keeper locked position and a keeper unlocked position. The spring latch keeper is rotatable about a keeper axis of rotation. The spring latch keeper includes: a keeper face configured for abutting contact with the spring latch when the spring latch is disposed in the entry chamber and the spring latch is in the engaged position; a second surface recessed from the keeper face, and a spring latch contact ridge positioned between the keeper face and the second surface, wherein the spring latch contact ridge is disposed at a non-perpendicular angle from the keeper axis of rotation.
LOCKING SYSTEM FOR A DOOR
The locking system is provided for controlling the unlocking of a door by an electronic key. The locking system has a first pack configured to be received within a first recessed area of the door, the first pack having an actuator configured and adapted to move a bolt slidingly housed in the lock pack; a second pack configured to be received within a second recessed area of the door; a reader interface adapted to receive an input from the electronic key and a controller adapted to receive the input from the reader interface, authenticate the input, and control the actuator based on the authentication.
Motor vehicle door lock
The invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock which is equipped with a body-side lock housing and a hood-or-door-side locking bolt or vice-versa. The invention also relates to a locking and/or opening device. According to the invention, the locking and/or opening device engages on the outer side on the lock housing for the adjustment thereof with respect to a fixed base element in the course of a closing/opening process.
Motorized electric strike
An exemplary electric strike includes a housing and a keeper pivotally mounted in the housing. The strike also includes a plunger having an extended position and a retracted position, a cage including an aperture, and a locking element movably seated in the aperture. The locking element is engaged with the plunger, and the plunger is structured to urge the locking element radially outward as the plunger moves from an extended position toward a retracted position. The strike also includes a sleeve, a transmission engaged with the sleeve, and a motor drivingly coupled to the transmission. The sleeve is structured to selectively prevent radially outward movement of the locking element and retraction of the plunger. The strike also includes at least one of a lost motion connection and an anti-tamper mechanism.
KEEPER AND AIRCRAFT WITH SUCH KEEPER
The invention involves a keeper (20) to interact with a bolt (16) of a lock (10);
The keeper includes a bracket (22) for attachment to a structure, and a keeper rod (24) secured to the bracket, the keeper rod extending from one surface (27) of the bracket.
In the keeper, a shaft (32) is attached to the bracket and can rotate freely relative to the bracket such that it extends in a longitudinal direction (X); a blade (40) is mounted on the shaft (32) on one side of the bracket near the keeper rod in such a way as to always rotate along with the shaft; an angular position indicator (46) is also mounted so as to always rotate along with the shaft; the blade being so positioned that it can be rotated by the latch when the latch hooks on to or releases from the keeper rod, and the angular position indicator (46) being capable of indicating the angular position of the blade.
The invention is for example intended to be used on an aircraft door such as that of a helicopter.
LOCKING MECHANISM
A locking mechanism including a plunger, a plurality of locking elements, a cage including apertures in which the locking elements are housed, and a sleeve, with the sleeve moveable with respect to the cage between an unlocked position and a locked position, and when the sleeve is in the locked position, the sleeve maintains the locking elements in engagement with a recess on the plunger to restrict movement of the plunger.
STRIKE ASSEMBLY
An electric strike assembly includes a housing formed with a recessed portion therein, a keeper assembly pivotably mounted in the recessed portion of the housing, a lock leg pivotably mounted in the recessed portion of the housing and configured to rotate independently of the rotation of the keeper assembly, a block assembly having a blocking element configured to engage and disengage the keeper assembly, and to control engagement and disengagement of the blocking element with the keeper assembly. A method of capturing and releasing a latch bolt mounted in a door includes mounting an electric strike assembly in an associated door jamb and controlling an actuator to rotate an, actuator paddle to engage a blocking element such that the blocking element is engaged or disengaged from a keeper assembly.

A method of capturing and releasing a latch bolt mounted in a door includes mounting an electric strike assembly in an associated door jamb and controlling an actuator to rotate an actuator paddle to engage a blocking element such that the blocking element is engaged or disengaged from a keeper assembly.
Electric Door Strike Having a Dead Latch Release Platform Actuated by a Spring Latch Keeper and a Spring Latch Lifter Feature
An actuator-controlled strike comprising a housing disposable within a doorframe and including a chamber for receiving a spring latch and a dead latch of a mortise-type lockset. A keeper is pivotably mounted within the chamber to restrain the spring latch. A pivotable spring latch lifter is positively driven by the keeper, and a pivotable dead latch release platform is supported by the keeper when the spring latch is locked within the strike. The keeper is released by the actuator and then may be rotated which causes rotation of the dead latch release platform, allowing the dead latch to enter the chamber. The keeper positively drives the spring latch lifter to lift the spring latch onto the external ramp of the strike. In an alternate embodiment, an internal ramp feature may be used instead of the spring latch lifter to positively lift the spring latch out of the chamber.
