Fastening Device for an Actuator and a Housing, in Particular for a Motor Vehicle
The invention proposes a device for attaching an actuator (2) to a housing (4), in particular for an automotive vehicle, the actuator being provided for driving a movable equipment (41) disposed within the housing. The device comprises attaching means for attaching the actuator on the housing. The mounting means comprise two conjugated connection flanges (20, 40), respectively mounted on a connexion face (28) of the actuator (28) and on a connection face (48) of the housing. The connexion flanges are adapted to be assembled according to a male/female type connection at the outside of the housing.
Connector apparatus
A connector apparatus has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion mounts to an upright that has knobby hand grip protrusions. The second portion provides a connection for a laterally extending cross-member. The first portion interacts with the knobby hand grip protrusions to have a combination of a first degree of freedom permitting motion in one direction, while inhibiting motion in a second degree of freedom. The second portion has a releasable connection to the cross-member, and when engaged, has a degree of freedom of motion about an axis of the second portion cross-wise to the axis of the upright. The second portion has a releasable, retained, pin connector with a quarter-turn lock to prevent accidental disengagement. The connection of the second portion is offset such that when two connectors are seated back-to-back their cross-tie connections stand in substantially the same horizontal plane relative to the ground.
Dual retention apparatus
A dual retention apparatus comprises: a locking pin; a pin retaining device, the pin slidable therein, comprising: a starting pin position; a pin locking mechanism; a partial pin locking mechanism; a pin path from the starting pin position to the pin locking mechanism, the partial pin locking mechanism located on the pin path and configured to prevent the pin from sliding back towards the starting pin position and allowing the pin to slide towards the pin locking mechanism, the pin locking mechanism configured to lock the pin therein; and a pin return path from the pin locking mechanism to the starting position, the pin return path bypassing the partial pin locking mechanism; and, a biasing device configured to relatively bias the pin along at least a portion of the pin path towards the pin locking mechanism, and further bias the pin into the pin locking mechanism.
Surgical scalpel handle assembly system and method for requiring a verification process performed prior to and during surgery using actuators to unlock and engage blade holder in ready for cutting position
A surgical scalpel handle assembly system and method that requires a surgeon to actively perform a verification process known as a time out verification process but specifically requires sequentially moving a series of actuator knobs on a scalpel handle upon affirming each criterion embedded in the scalpel handle. The required sequential confirmation of each criterion unlocks and ejects a blade holder from a scalpel handle to a position fully engaged and ready for blade attachment, surgery and in cutting position. The assembly system and method includes exposed visual indicia on the handle that indicates red color in stand by pre-operative position and indicates green exposed visual indices upon affirming verification of time out criteria and thus triggering the deployment of a fully exposed, engaged, and in a ready for surgery for blade attachment in handle.
Coupling between two parts of a medical instrument
A tool for a medical instrument includes a coupling member on the proximal end of the tool, for releasable mechanical coupling with a distal end of a shaft of a medical instrument, wherein the coupling member is in the form of a helical cutout of a circular cylinder barrel.
Connector for use in display systems
A connector, for display systems having a display frame formed of a plurality of beams (1), has a male fitting (3) which has a stem (8) projecting from a plate (4), and a head (9) formed of four noses which project laterally from the stem. The head (9) is inserted in a correspondingly-shaped aperture of a female node fitting and rotated into positive engagement with the inner face of the node fitting. The trailing faces of the four noses have oppositely-inclined ramps which act to provide progressive tightening and alignment of the connector as the male part is rotated within the aperture. The connector provides a stable joint and enables a firm connection to be obtained with a smaller angle of rotation and reduced engagement force.
ANNULAR COMBUSTION CHAMBER IN A TURBINE ENGINE
The invention relates to a device for supporting and centring a fuel injector in a turbine engine combustion chamber, which includes means for centring a fuel injector along an axis, which are movable in a plane that is radial to the centring axis (52) in supporting means intended for being attached to the bottom of an annular chamber (18). According to the invention, the centring means include at least two radially external tabs (54, 56) each inserted respectively in a circumferential recess (60, 64) of the supporting means, the device including circumferential abutment means (78, 80, 74, 76, 82, 86, 84, 88) of the radial tabs (54, 56) of the centring means in the circumferential recesses (60, 64), the circumferential abutment means being configured such as to enable a greater angular displacement of a first (54, 154) one of the radial tabs in a first circumferential recess (60) relative to a second (56, 156) one of the radial tabs in a second circumferential recess (64).
Connecting structure between power tool and attachment
A connecting structure between a power tool and an attachment includes a lock mechanism. The lock mechanism is configured to be actuated when the attachment is moved in a first direction relative to the power tool in response to an attaching operation being performed on the attachment by a user, and to lock the attachment in an attachment position to be immovable in a second direction opposite to the first direction when the attachment is placed in the attachment position relative to the power tool.
CUPHOLDER ASSEMBLIES
Selectively engageable and interlocking cupholder assemblies are shown and disclosed. In some embodiments, the cupholder assembly includes a main member having opposed first and second end portions, and a bottom member pivotably attached to the first end portion of the main member. The bottom member includes a container receiver to receive a beverage container. The cupholder assembly additionally includes a top member pivotably attached to the second end portion of the main member. The top member includes an opening to receive the beverage container. The cupholder assembly further includes an over-centering mechanism that urges the bottom and top members toward an open position when the bottom and top members are between the open position and an over-center position, and that urges the bottom and top members toward a closed position when the bottom and top members are between the closed position and the over-center position.
