WORKPIECE REPLACING APPARATUS AND MACHINE TOOL
A workpiece replacing apparatus delivers a pre-machined workpiece into an intra-machine space inside a machine tool from an extra-machine space outside the machine tool, and delivers a workpiece machined by the machine tool to the extra-machine space from the intra-machine space. The workpiece replacing apparatus includes a secured cover, an arm device, and a movable cover. The secured cover is secured to a securing member of the machine tool. The secured cover defines a partition between the intra-machine space and the extra-machine space. The secured cover is provided with an opening. The arm device delivers the workpieces between the intra-machine space and the extra-machine space through the opening. The movable cover is integral with the arm device or in engagement with the arm device such that the movable cover is operable in conjunction with operation of the arm device. The movable cover closes the opening, with the arm device located in the extra-machine space.

The workpiece positioning device comprises a deposit place comprising a horizontal deposit surface for a workpiece palette with a workpiece mounted thereon and a pivot bearing that receives the workpiece palette on a first edge of said workpiece palette in a rotatable manner. Furthermore, the workpiece positioning device comprises a pivoting device for transferring the workpiece palette from a horizontal position into a vertical position, and vice versa. The pivoting device comprises a horizontal and a vertical linear axle and a gripping device and is disposed to grip a workpiece palette on another, second edge and to pivot, by simultaneously moving the horizontal and the vertical linear axles, the workpiece palette around the pivot bearing on a circular path.

Automatic feeding and discharging machining system
An automatic loading and unloading processing system includes a material storage assembly to store workpieces; a positioning device on a worktable; and a transport mechanism to transport the workpiece from the material storage assembly to the positioning device and transport the processed workpiece into the material storage assembly. The material storage assembly includes a material tray; fixing bases; a motion mechanism; and holders on the fixing base for fixing the workpiece, and the motion mechanism controls the movement of the material tray. The transport mechanism includes an auxiliary loading and unloading system arranged at a worktable to grab the holders and move horizontally; and a main loading and unloading system arranged on a main spindle to grab the holders and move vertically.
Machine tool
A machine tool comprises a tool spindle which can be positioned in 3 axes and a pivot bridge pivotable about an A axis with a round table for mounting a workpiece pallet supporting a workpiece. Furthermore, in front of the pivot bridge, a mount is provided for a processed workpiece or workpiece to be processed located on a workpiece pallet. Between the mount and the pivot bridge a pallet changer is provided which can only perform a vertical displacement movement and a pivot movement about a vertical axis. Workpiece pallets are picked up and put down only during the vertical displacement movement of the pallet changer, or possibly by pivoting the pivot bridge about the A axis.
