The pump clip includes a clip pivot base coupled to the clip base along the first pivot axis. At least a portion of the clip pivot base is received within the aperture in the first position. The pump clip includes a clip coupled to the clip pivot base along a second pivot axis and the clip cooperates with the clip pivot base to receive an article.

A fastener has a head and a shaft. The shaft extends through the arms and across the slit. The shaft engages the arms such that movement of the shaft selectively urges the arms together and apart wherein the fastener is configured for securing the connection port within the receiver.

A pump clip for a fluid infusion device is provided. The pump clip includes a mount. The mount includes wings defined on opposed sides of the mount, a first lock tab to couple the pump clip to the fluid infusion device and a lip. The pump clip includes a base coupled to the mount that defines a second lock tab that engages with the lip to retain the mount in a first position. The mount is pivotable about a first pivot axis into a second position in which the mount is spaced apart from the base. The pump clip includes a clip coupled to the base, the clip pivotable about a second pivot axis relative to the base between a first, clamped position and a second, released position to receive an article.

A retainer includes a first arcuate wall and a second arcuate wall that together define a channel designed to receive a medical article. The retainer has an open configuration wherein a first end of the first arcuate wall is spaced away from a first end of the second arcuate wall, and a closed configuration wherein the first end of the first arcuate wall is adjacent the first end of the second arcuate wall. A second end of the first arcuate wall opposite the first end of the arcuate wall may be spaced away from the base in the open configuration and pressed against the base in the closed configuration. The retainer also may include a first support and a second support fixed to the base, and a first and second flexible coupling connecting the first and second supports to the first and second arcuate walls.
