Portable infusion pump
The present invention relates to a medicament delivery device comprising a housing, a compartment inside said housing for positioning a medicament container, an injection needle arranged to said housing, being connectable to said medicament container for delivering a dose of medicament, a manually operated activation mechanism for activating said device, an actuation mechanism operably connected to said activation mechanism and arranged to, upon activation of said activation mechanism, extend said injection needle from a first position inside said housing to a second position wherein a penetration of a patient is performed, a plunger rod arranged in said housing capable of acting on said medicament container for delivering a dose of medicament through said injection needle, a driver capable of acting on said plunger rod for delivering a dose of medicament. The invention is characterised in that said device comprises a needle cover operably arranged in said housing from a first position inside said housing to a second extended position outside said housing for shielding said injection needle when said injection needle is in said second position.
Time controlled periodic infusion
The present disclosure relates to administration of fluid medication, in particular medication and dosing regimen for management of pain, more specifically to an anesthetic and dosing regimen for anesthetic for perioperative pain management and/or for palliative care. The present disclosure relates further to a medication pump and a method for delivering medication using the medication pump.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUS, AND METHODS FOR FILTERING AIR FROM A FLUID LINE
In some embodiments, a housing can define a reservoir. A lower cap can be coupled to the housing and define an outlet, and an upper cap can be coupled to the housing and can define an inlet. The upper cap can include an extending portion extending laterally a distance beyond an outermost extending portion of the lower cap relative to a central axis of the housing such that, when the lower cap and the extending portion of the upper cap contact a horizontal surface, the central axis of the housing is transverse to the surface and a sealing member is configured to sealingly engage a sealing surface of a valve seat prior to a liquid fluid level within a reservoir decreasing below a minimum threshold fluid level.
DUAL LUMEN IV ADMINISTRATION SET
A dual lumen IV administration set includes a first lumen having an inner diameter of a first value. A second lumen is paired with the first lumen, and the second lumen has an inner diameter of a second value that is greater than the first value. A flow merger merges flow output from a distal end of the first lumen and flow output from a distal end of the second lumen to form a single flow output in an exit lumen. An injection port intersects the first lumen, thereby providing injection access to flow therethrough, prior to merging with the flow output of the second lumen.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR DELIVERY OF SOLID FORMULATIONS
The disclosed technology provides delivery devices for therapeutic agents, where the delivery devices are configured to be worn on a patient's body, and where the delivery devices deliver a solid formulation of a therapeutic agent subcutaneously to the patient. The delivery devices may in one embodiment be part of an integrated system comprising both a solid formulation delivery device and an analyte sensing device.
WEARABLE FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM
A universal wearable fluid delivery system includes a body panel which includes a plurality of connection points. A fluid dispenser includes a taut pocket defined by at least one taut surface and a portion of a surface of the body panel and is adapted to receive a fluid bag. A stretch pocket is disposed within the taut pocket. The stretch pocket is defined between a surface of at least one stretch panel and about a common portion of the surface of the body panel and is adapted to receive a pressure infusion bag disposed within. At least one strap is coupled to the body panel via two connection points of the plurality of connection points to secure the fluid dispenser to a body of a human or animal patient. A wearable fluid delivery system and a fluid dispenser and body panel assembly are also described.
MEDICAL FLUID INJECTOR INCLUDING BOLUS COUNTER
The present invention relates to a medical fluid injector. In particular, by including a bolus counter that provides the correct number of bolus injections, it is possible to prevent the problem of excessive administration of a medical fluid due to frequent bolus injections through the management of the number of bolus injections, and increase effectiveness of treatment through the establishment of a treatment strategy based on the number of bolus injections provided.
Systems, apparatus, and methods for filtering air from a fluid line

Apparatus And Methods For Purging Catheter Systems
Apparatus and methods for providing controlled pressure-flow pulses which purge a catheter system with turbulent flow flushing. Accomplishment of such controlled pressure-flow pulses is provided by a variety of inventive devices including a special plunger rod for a conventional syringe, other interactive parts for conventional syringes, an in-line catheter attachable device which automatically generates the controlled pressure-flow pulses and also single pulse, digitally operated devices.
HARVESTING ENERGY FROM OPERATION OF A SYRINGE
Various methods and apparatus disclosed herein relate to apparatus and techniques for harvesting energy from operation of a syringe, and utilizing that energy for various purposes. In various embodiments, a method (400) for harvesting and using electrical energy during operation of a syringe (100, 300) may include: operating (402) the syringe, wherein operating includes displacing a plunger (112) of the syringe to draw fluid into a reservoir (114) of the syringe or expel fluid from the reservoir of the syringe; converting (404), by an electrical generator (120, 122) that is integral with the syringe, motion associated with displacing the plunger into electrical energy; and using (406) at least some of the electrical energy to at least temporarily store, in a memory component (136) integral with the syringe, one or more data points associated with operation of the syringe.
