The present disclosure provides a medicament delivery device including a housing, a skin sensor positioned at least partially within the housing, and a transmitter positioned within the housing. The medicament delivery device is configured to determine, via the skin sensor, whether or not the medicament delivery device is attached to the skin of the user. In response to a determination that the medicament delivery device is attached to the skin of the user, the medicament delivery device prevents transmission of unique identification data associated with the medicament delivery device and/or the user from the transmitter. In response to a determination that the medicament delivery device is not attached to the skin of the user, the medicament delivery device transmits, via the transmitter, the unique identification data to one or more external receivers.

A control assembly including a signal receiver is configured to receive signals from a glucose sensor, the control assembly being electrically coupled to an alarm and configured to activate the alarm upon a signal received in the signal receiver being indicative of hypoglycaemia, the control assembly being configured to cause the injector to administer through a needle a dose of the agent to the patient after a predetermined period of time of the signal receiver receiving the signal indicative of hypoglycaemia, the control assembly having a manually activated switch that when activated prior to the expiration of the predetermined period of time causes the control assembly to abort the injection of the agent.

An injection apparatus for sequentially injecting a patient with at least two medicaments may include a hand-held unit comprising a grip for being held by an operator, a single needle, a base unit coupled to the hand-held unit via at least one connecting tube, at least two containers for holding medicaments removably coupled to the base unit, and at least one pump. The at least one connecting tube can be flexible enough to enable easy maneuvering of the hand-held unit and rigid enough to prevent widening of the tube due to inner pressure when medicaments pass from the containers to the hand-held unit. The injection apparatus can be used to administer the at least two medicaments sequentially at different injection points.

A device encases a reservoir of medication and a delivery mechanism. Sensors in the housing sense a physical attribute of the person and circuitry monitors information collected by the sensors to determine if the person is experiencing a severe medical condition or event based on the information. An input device on or in the housing, such as a button, may be used or activated by the person if the detected condition or event is a false positive to cancel further action. If the system does not include the button or if the user does not press it in time, the system activates the delivery device and injects the medication into the person.
