SEALING FILM SUITABLE FOR FOOD PACKAGING AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

A sealing film suitable for food packaging is provided, which adopts the following solution. The sealing film comprises, in sequence, a PET layer, a VMPET layer and a PE layer from inside to outside, wherein the PE layer comprises 100-110 parts of PE, 15-20 parts of EVA, 15-20 parts of EAA, 55-60 parts of HDPE and 10-15 parts of LLDPE in parts by mass. In this manner, the addition of HDPE and LLDPE into the PE layer is intended to enhance the tensile strength of the sealing film.

Hydride forming of sheet materials

A deployable structure includes a hydride material to be converted into hydrogen gas; and a sheet material encapsulating the hydride material; wherein the sheet material is to be plastically deformed by the hydrogen gas to have an expanded structure. A method of manufacturing a deployable structure includes: forming a sheet material comprising an outer shell structure and a hollow interior; placing a hydride material capable of being converted into hydrogen gas into the hollow interior; sealing the outer shell structure; and converting and releasing the hydrogen gas to expand and plastically deform the sheet material.

Composite film structures for packaging use. The composite film structures have easy open, clean peel and hermetic seal characteristics stemming from good caulkability characteristics when a region of the composite film structures are folded over and sealed to form a seal on a bag, pouch or package. The composite film structure includes a base film which includes a biaxially-oriented film and a vacuum-deposited metal layer and a heat-sealant structure comprising a low density polyethylene and a linear low density polyethylene. The metal layer is between the biaxially-oriented film and the heat-sealant structure. The heat-sealant structure thickness is from about 50 to about 100 gauge, the adhesion strength between the biaxially-oriented film and the metal layer is less than about 800 g/in, and the seal strength when a region of the composite film structure is folded onto a composite film structure region is from about 500 to about 1500 g/in.
