POLYMER FILMS
Biodegradable, cross-linked polymer films and methods of making the same are described. The polymer films can be used for preventing adhesions following surgery and/or delivering therapeutic agents.
FIBC LINER FILM
The invention relates to plastic film preferably with a thickness of 50 to 300 microns, comprising a polyolefin homopolymer or copolymer, a polyether copolymer having a melting point between 100 C. and 120 C. and a layer comprising oxygen barrier polymer.
SEALING FILM SUITABLE FOR FOOD PACKAGING AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A sealing film suitable for food packaging is provided, which adopts the following solution. The sealing film comprises, in sequence, a PET layer, a VMPET layer and a PE layer from inside to outside, wherein the PE layer comprises 100-110 parts of PE, 15-20 parts of EVA, 15-20 parts of EAA, 55-60 parts of HDPE and 10-15 parts of LLDPE in parts by mass. In this manner, the addition of HDPE and LLDPE into the PE layer is intended to enhance the tensile strength of the sealing film.
Automatic determination of elevator user's current location and next destination with mobile device technology
A method for automatically dispatching an elevator 110 based on a user's location is provided. The method includes querying a device 104 to determine a user's source floor and confirming the user's source floor. The method also includes querying the device to suggest the user's destination floor based on a history of destination floors traveled to by the user; and confirming the user's destination floor.
BATTERY PACKAGING MATERIAL, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, BATTERY, AND POLYESTER FILM
A battery packaging material including a laminate that is provided with a barrier layer, a heat-fusible resin layer positioned on one surface side of the barrier layer, and a polyester film positioned on other surface side of barrier layer. This battery packaging material is configured from at least a laminate provided with a barrier layer, heat-fusible resin layer positioned on one surface side of barrier layer, and a polyester film positioned on other surface side of barrier layer. When infrared absorption spectrum on the polyester film's surface in 18 directions at intervals of 10? from 0?-180? is obtained using total reflection method of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, the ratio of the maximum value and the minimum value of the ratio (Y.sub.1340/Y.sub.1410) of the absorption peak intensity Y.sub.1340 in 1340 cm.sup.?1 and the absorption peak intensity Y.sub.1410 in 1410 cm.sup.?1 in the infrared absorption spectrum is in the range of 1.4-2.7.

MULTILAYER FILMS, ARTICLES COMPRISING THE SAME, AND METHODS OF MAKING MULTILAYER FILMS
Embodiments of the present invention relate to multilayer films, packages formed therefrom, and methods of preparing multilayer films. In one aspect, a multilayer film comprises a coextruded, multilayer film comprising at least five layers in which Layer A is a skin layer, Layer B is a tie layer, Layer C is a barrier layer, Layer D is a second tie layer, and Layer E is polyolefin, each layer having opposing facial surfaces and arranged in the order A/B/C/D/E. Layer A comprises polyethylene terephthalate, Layer C comprises polyamide or ethylene vinyl alcohol, and Layer E comprises polypropylene or polyethylene.
FILMS INCLUDING A WATER-SOLUBLE LAYER AND A VAPOR-DEPOSITED ORGANIC COATING
Films including a water-soluble layer and a vapor-deposited organic coating are disclosed. The films can optionally further include a vapor-deposited inorganic layer. The films exhibit enhanced barrier properties.
