PVC-free closures
The present invention relates to compositions (compounds) which can be used as seal material in vessel caps, even under pasteurization conditions and possibly sterilization conditions. More specifically, the invention relates to such compositions that are suitable for vessel caps that can be unscrewed, such as lug screw caps and in particular Press-on/Twist-Off caps, and that result in a reduced migration of undesirable substances.
RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR CONVEYOR BELT AND CONVEYOR BELT
A rubber composition for a conveyor belt includes: a rubber component containing from 80 to 100% by mass of a natural rubber and from 0 to 20% by mass of a butadiene rubber; carbon black; sulfur; and a vulcanization accelerator, in which a content of the carbon black is from 45 to 100 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, a content of the sulfur is from 0.50 to 2.00 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, a content of the vulcanization accelerator is 1.50 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and a mass ratio of the vulcanization accelerator to the sulfur is from 0.50 to 3.00. A conveyor belt includes an upper surface cover rubber layer formed of the rubber composition for a conveyor belt.
ELASTOMERIC COMPOSITION FOR AN ELASTOMERIC ARTICLE
The present invention relates to an elastomeric composition, wherein the elastomeric composition comprises an additive selected from any one or a combination of fluorine and silicone compounds in the production of a hypoallergenic elastomeric article.
RUBBER LAMINATE
A rubber laminate where an acrylic rubber layer (A) including an acrylic rubber composition including at least a carboxyl group-containing acrylic rubber and an aliphatic polyvalent amine compound or a derivative thereof and a fluororubber layer (B) including a fluororubber composition including at least a polyol-cross-linkable fluororubber and a bismuth oxide are made to adhere to one another through cross-linking.
Coating Compositions for Aluminum Beverage Cans and Methods of Coating Same
A coating composition for a food or beverage can that includes an emulsion polymerized latex polymer formed by combining an ethylenically unsaturated monomer component with an aqueous dispersion of a water-dispersible polymer.
Glove coating and manufacturing process
This invention relates to an elastomeric article with improved lubricity and donnablity and reduced stickiness/tackiness. According to the methods of the invention, the internal surface of the elastomeric article is coated with a polyisoprene coating. The coating of the invention is formed from synthetic polyisoprene rubber that may or may not contain minor amounts of other components. The coating is preferably directly bonded to the underlying elastomeric article.
Textile hose
Textile hose for encasing elongated objects, characterised by having a radially elastic outer layer made from wear-resistant material and at least one inner layer made from thermally insulating material.
Smooth film laminated elastomer articles
An elastomeric article for sealing a container includes an elastomeric body having an external sidewall surface and an external crown surface and a first fluoropolymer film layer having an internal surface and an external surface. The internal surface of the first fluoropolymer film layer is laminated to an entirety of the external sidewall and crown surfaces of the elastomeric body. The external crown surface of the first fluoropolymer film layer includes a drug contact surface configured to contact a drug contained in the container and the external sidewall surface including a sealing surface for contacting an interior surface of the container. The external surface of the first fluoropolymer film layer is substantially free of striations.
Fluororubber composition
Provided is a fluororubber composition capable of providing a crosslinked fluororubber article that exhibits not only heat resistance, but also excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures. The fluororubber composition includes a fluororubber (A), a carbon black (B), and an aromatic petroleum resin (E), and the fluororubber composition has a difference G (G (1%)G (100%)) of not lower than 120 kPa and not higher than 3,000 kPa, where G (1%) denotes a shear modulus at a dynamic strain of 1%, G (100%) denotes a shear modulus at a dynamic strain of 100%, and G (1%) and G (100%) are determined by a dynamic viscoelasticity test carried out on an unvulcanised rubber with a rubber process analyzer (RPA) in a condition that the measurement frequency is 1 Hz and the measurement temperature is 100 C.
Embossments for thin film articles
An embossment (100) on a sheet of film and a glove produced from the embossed sheet of film is disclosed. The embossment (100) comprises a base surface (103); a raised surface (102) opposite to the base surface (103); and at least one recessed area (104) formed therein and extending from the base surface (103) and the raised surface (102) to the base surface (103), wherein depth (D.sub.r) of the recessed area (104) is between 50% to 99% relative to height (H.sub.e) of the embossment (100) between the base surface (103) and the raised surface (102).
