Laser welding of transparent and opaque materials
Welding of transparent material in electronic devices. An electronic device may include an enclosure having at least one aperture formed through a portion of the enclosure. The electronic device may also include a component positioned within the aperture formed through the portion of the enclosure. The component may be laser welded to the aperture formed through the enclosure. Additionally, the component may include transparent material. A method for securing a component within an electronic device may include providing an electronic device enclosure including at least one aperture, and positioning a component within the aperture formed through the enclosure. The component positioned within the aperture may include a transparent material. The method may also include welding the component to the electronic device enclosure.
Method for manufacturing substrate gap supporter
Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a substrate gap supporter. The method includes: a first step of forming metal foils on both sides of an insulating plate; a second step of etching the metal foils to expose the insulating plate so that a plurality of stripes are arranged on both sides of the insulating plate in parallel at constant intervals, wherein the stripes expose the insulating plate at constant widths; and a third step of cutting in direction in parallel with the stripes and in direction in vertical with the stripes along one edges of the stripes to complete the gap supporter.
Floor panel
A floor may include a substrate having a top side and a bottom side. A top layer may be provided on the substrate. The top layer may consist of a printed thermoplastic film and a thermoplastic transparent or translucent layer provided on the printed thermoplastic film. The top layer may be directly adhered to the substrate by heat welding the printed thermoplastic film and the top side of the substrate, in the absence of a glue layer. The substrate may be a synthetic material board including a filler. The substrate at least at two opposite edges may include coupling means provided in the synthetic material board. The thermoplastic transparent or translucent layer may be provided with a structure.
UTILITY MATERIALS INCORPORATING A MICROPARTICLE MATRIX FORMED WITH A SETTING AGENT
A composition, utility material, and method of making a utility material is disclosed. A composition having an improved setting time may include a plurality of microparticles mixed with a sodium silicate binder and an isocyanate setting agent, where the microparticle composition has a setting time of less than or equal to one hour. A utility material may be a wallboard that includes the composition.
Display and electronic unit
There are provided a display in which a sealing section is prevented from being spread and the sealing section is allowed to be provided in a desired region, and an electronic unit including the display. The display includes: a substrate including a sealing region and a step section, the sealing region surrounding a display region, and the step section surrounding the sealing region from outside; a display layer provided in the display region; and a sealing section provided in the sealing region.
Inside corner trim product
A flexible inside corner trim piece is formed with concave depressions at hinge portions where wings attach to the body. The trim piece can be formed such that wings and a top cap lay flat in plane perpendicular to body or wings and top cap curve at an angle. Hinge portions can be narrow or wide and symmetrical or asymmetrical. The trim piece can be dyed, paintable, or present another decorative surface. The trim piece can include embedded lighting.
Floor panel
A floor panel has a rectangular and oblong shape, and includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate and forming a decorative side of the floor panel. The top layer is composed of a print provided on a carrier sheet and a transparent thermoplastic layer situated above the print. The substrate has a thickness from 2 to 10 millimeter and forms at least half of the thickness of the floor panel. The substrate is a polyurethane-based substrate and the transparent thermoplastic layer is polyurethane-based. The floor panel has a length of more than 1.1 meters and has a plurality of reinforcing layers situated outside the center line of the substrate. A reinforcing layer may be provided in combination with the substrate and the top layer.
Composed element, multi-layered board and panel-shaped element for forming this composed element
A composed element includes at least two panel-shaped elements, which each have an edge zone in which coupling means are present in a profiled part respectively extending in the longitudinal direction of the respective edge zone, and each including an end face extending transversely to the respective edge zone. The profiled parts allow the coupling of the panel-shaped elements together in an interlocking manner. At least one of the panel-shaped elements includes an arrangement which hides from view at least a portion of the profiled part formed at the pertaining edge zone at the location of the end face.
TAPERED PLASTERBOARDS AND METHODS FOR MAKING THEM
Disclosed herein are plaster boards having a first surface and an opposing second surface, and a first edge and an opposing second edge that bound the first surface and the second surface. The first surface includes a first section and a second section, the first section being raised compared to the second section, the second section abutting the second edge. The second surface includes a first section and a second section that are separated by a boundary between the first edge and the second edge. The first section of the second surface is substantially parallel to the first section of the first surface. The second section of the second surface slopes toward the first surface from the boundary toward the second edge. Methods for making the plaster boards involve forming wet plaster material and drying the wet plaster material such that the wet plaster material hardens into a plasterboard.
