RECORDED MATTER
The transfer material has a laminated structure in which a base material sheet, a transparent sheet, and a coloring material-receiving layer are laminated in the stated order, in which: the coloring material-receiving layer contains inorganic fine particles and a water-soluble resin; the transparent sheet contains at least two kinds of emulsions including an emulsion E1 and an emulsion E2; and the emulsion E1 has a glass transition temperature Tg1 of more than 50 C. and less than 90 C., the emulsion E2 has a glass transition temperature Tg2 of 90 C. or more and 120 C. or less, and at least the emulsion E2 remains in a particle state in the transparent sheet.
Multiple ply paper products and their manufacture
A printed multiple ply paper article and a method of producing it are described. The method comprises providing a first paper stock having a first surface and a second surface, applying a pressure activated adhesive (33) to the second surface, printing (34) upon the first surface, and bringing together two portions of the second surface under pressure in registration (35, 36) to form a multiple ply product.
PAPER, LABELS MADE THEREFROM AND METHODS OF MAKING PAPER AND LABELS
Paper is disclosed for use in making repositionable or removable adhesive labels. The adhesive can be applied in patches or discrete areas to the paper or to a layer of material that cleans rollers in the manufacturing line and/or in printers. The adhesive can be applied in single or multiple layers. The paper is light weight paper and preferably thermal paper for use in POS printers.
Method of Coloring Multi-Layered Pre-Sintered Dental Restoration
A method of coloring a pre-sintered dental restoration comprises securing a pre-sintered dental restoration having multiple different layers having a different chemical composition of color pigments between adjacent layers; dipping the pre-sintered dental restoration into a coloring liquid, and sintering the pre-sintered dental restoration to acquire a fully sintered ceramic restoration having a translucency and color intensity/chroma with an inverse relationship with the translucency increasing in one direction of the restoration and the color intensity/chroma decreasing in the same direction of the restoration.
Transfer material, recorded matter, method of manufacturing recorded matter, image-recording apparatus, and apparatus for manufacturing recorded matter
High Translucent Dental Zirconia Blank and Sintered Body
A dental block for producing a dental prosthesis comprises a green body including zirconia and having a chemical composition comprising between 6.0 wt % to 20 wt % of yttria (Y.sub.2O.sub.3). The green body is subsequently sinterable, with regular sintering in air and with no post HIP processing, to product a translucent sintered body with a total light transmittance of at least 36% to light with a wavelength of 400 nm at a thickness of 0.6 mm.
Control panel restoration system and method
A restoration method for producing a restored vehicle. As marked identifiers fade after extended use, users are left without means to readily determine the functions of vehicle controllers. The restoration method is comprised of scraping an indicia from a vehicle controller. The restoration method is also comprised of removing debris from a label-receiving surface of the vehicle controller and smoothing the label-receiving surface. The restoration method is further comprised of aligning a restoration apparatus with the label-receiving surface and securing the restoration apparatus to the vehicle controller. The restoration apparatus includes a sheet of material, an adhesive disposed on a side of the sheet of material, and an identifier formed on an opposite of the sheet of material. The restoration apparatus forms a restored controller of the restored vehicle that is uniform and continuous in appearance and indistinguishable in appearance from the original automobile manufacturer identifiers.
Label assembly and method of using the same to label articles durably yet removably
A label assembly and method of using the same to label articles durably, yet removably. In one embodiment, the method includes providing an image removing laminate. The image removing laminate includes (i) a remover support, and (ii) a remover layer secured to the remover support, the remover layer, upon being activated by at least one of heat and light, being bondable to an ink image on a garment in such a way that the bonding between the remover layer and the ink image is stronger than the bonding between the ink image and the garment. The method then includes bonding the remover layer of the image removing laminate to the ink image on the garment and, then, detaching the ink image from the garment by separating the image removing laminate away from the garment.
Method of coloring a pre-sintered dental restoration
A method of coloring pre-sintered dental restoration, comprises: securing a pre-sintered dental restoration; applying a preceding liquid on the dental restoration; dipping the dental restoration, with the preceding liquid thereon, into a subsequent liquid for coloring; and sintering the dental restoration to acquire a fully sintered dental restoration. The subsequent liquid is different from the preceding liquid. The preceding liquid at least partly blocks or interferes with an infiltration of the subsequent liquid into an area where the preceding liquid was applied. The fully sintered dental restoration has less color/chroma in the area where the preceding liquid was applied.
High Translucent Colored Dental Zirconia Blank
A dental block for producing a dental prosthesis comprises a green body including zirconia and having a chemical composition including containing between 6.0 wt % or 7.5 wt % to 20 wt % of yttria (Y.sub.2O.sub.3). The green body has multiple different layers having a different chemical composition between adjacent layers. The green body has a pre-sintered translucency that is substantially the same across the multiple different layers, and subsequently has a post-sintered translucency and a post-sintered color intensity/chroma with an inverse relationship with the post-sintered translucency increasing in one direction across the multiple different layers and the post-sintered color intensity/chromes decreasing in the same direction across the multiple different layers. The green body can have a color component and a diameter of at least 90 mm and thickness of 10-25 mm.
